I did the pressure 2, -5%. With the stock ecu it shifts just before 6k every time. I know others who went with the 1.3/1.4 bar ecu tunes also did -5% shifting pattern. I think those doing more than -5% are running the more aggressive tunes or stacking tunes with meth.I always run 93 and will occasionally add some Boostane. No plans for meth anytime soon so 1.4 sounds right. What about adding some E85 to raise the octane? Do you know if this tune is compatible with a E15-30 mixture? I haven't really found a clear answer to this question and I haven't asked Lozic about this yet. As for the TCU I decided on pressure 2 and I was thinking 7% on the shift reduction. 99% of the time I let the transmission do the shifting. What I really want is whatever shift reduction will make me the fastest. My Stinger is a daily driver like most of us. I will be happy with a high 3 second 0-60 and a high 11 1/4 mile. Hopefully the Lozic ECU+TCU will give me that.
Is there 2 different switches on our cars? I haven't checked myself yet.Brake lights still work on my car still when the switch is on.
I'm pretty sure there is a pressure switch in the system also. I've been running this setup for a couple of years now with no issues. Is there 2 different switches on our cars? I haven't checked myself yet.
Thanks for the input, Lozic also suggest 5% on the order sheet so I'll probably just go with that. I would like to see more people on here or on the draggy app post their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with the Lozic ECU. Preferably people not stacking. When I get mine I'll definitely show what results I am seeing.I did the pressure 2, -5%. With the stock ecu it shifts just before 6k every time. 1.4 sounds perfect. Anything from 5-8% is going to be great, I run 8% and it shifts right around 5900 where the boost starts to taper down. Here is a reply from Lozic " The most suitable shift point is -8%. however, it was set at -5% to reflect the various gears.I always run 93 and will occasionally add some Boostane. That makes sense with the auto hold feature now that i think about it.I'm pretty sure there is a pressure switch in the system also. I've been running this setup for a couple of years now with no issues.
For me, the TCU tune replaces the switch.
I’m still in the exploratory stages of Lozic. Ran a few logs and allowing car to get used to new ECU/TCU. But the JB4 I’ve had a while. I can tell you if you ever change up the exhaust (delete or running HFC on primaries and/or secondaries), plan on running WMI/CPI, or Fuel_IT for E30, having a JB4 helps bring all of that together and work with the Lozic tunes. So it does more than just logs. Was this log taken with 93 octane? Do you ever add any octane booster or a few gallons of E85 to your tank? Would you feel confident in telling someone like me that doesn't have the ability to log data (because I went with another piggyback tune and regret not going with a JB4) to install the Lozic ECU into my Stinger without worry? I really don't want to buy a JB4 simply to log data for a peace of mind. I'm sure Lozic did thorough testing before releasing his tune. But I would feel more confident if others that have installed his tune enforced that it is safe and reliable. Sorry for all of the questions but I want my Stinger to run like a top. Thanks BadTrainDriver
So you run 93 correct?^This. 100%
The only way you can be totally confident with what YOU are running is to “Log it”. Guessing and trusting other’s logs/testing/fuel or whatever is ultimately a fools games. JB4 or other logging device will end up costing you a lot less in the long run. Get one of your friend to tell you to stop being so cheap or look in the mirror and do it yourself. You will thank them/you.Was this log taken with 93 octane? Do you ever add any octane booster or a few gallons of E85 to your tank? I agree the JB4 does way more then just logging which is why I regretted not buying one in the first place. But at this point I only plan on running the Lozic ECU+TCU so for my current purpose the JB4 would only be used for logging. Ideas for other options to log data?I’m still in the exploratory stages of Lozic. Ran a few logs and allowing car to get used to new ECU/TCU. But the JB4 I’ve had a while. Seems that your ignition is higher than stock, about 2-3 degrees. Lozic claims that ign. not is touched but log says it is.Nice 75 degree day yesterday, so I went out for some fun driving. I took my Dragy...but stupid me, the battery was dead!
I did log a 20-100MPH run, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear, and I'm highly impressed with how fast this car still feels.
Lozic 1.5 bar tune, drop in filters, HKS plugs, -5% pressure 3 TCU, and AWD unit.

I'm not sure what that means, but the car runs fantastic. My only wish is that the boost was not like an on off switch. I'm sending it back to Lozic this winter to see what he can do.Seems that your ignition is higher than stock, about 2-3 degrees. Lozic claims that ign. not is touched but log says it is.
Did you select the boost standby function ON when you ordered your ECU? I have been going back and forth trying to decide if I want it on or off when I place my order.I'm not sure what that means, but the car runs fantastic. My boost standby is ON. Off was not an option when I ordered my ECU.Did you select the boost standby function ON when you ordered your ECU? I have been going back and forth trying to decide if I want it on or off when I place my order.
