Hey guys, I just replaced my rear tires after about 22k miles. Put on the same 255 PS4. My front tires are still just ok (40-50 percent left I'd say). Should I just replace the front tires too? I have a gt AWD, I'd hate to mess up the transmission.

Thanks yall

You should be fine. No need to replace them if they are still legal.

Waste of money. Change them when their thread life is near 25%.

You got 22K out of your rear 255's? Amazing. I'm running my second set of 225 front Michelins down close to the wear bars now: I've had the third set of rears on for c. 4K miles: this is the second time I've run new rear tires for c. 4K miles before replacing the fronts.

My rears should have been changed prob at 18k. They were pretty bald
