Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

You should do some track/draggy runs. Curious to the numbers…
Yes I will. I have a Draggy. But I will only run 100-200 km/h (62-124 mph) that take away all faults like go from standing still. I have done 1 run so far before todays tune and it was 9 seconds. I think its about the same now or some tens of second lower.

So at this point what is the better option with 93 octane only with intakes/exhaust mods. 1.4 bar or 1.5 bar ecu?

1,4 will be more right, not much difference between the too.

That what I had gathered too(yes I’ve read the entire thread and seen every video aha). Thanks.

Do you have the old ECU or the new ECU with hi boost turned off?

Not sure if it's an updated one, I did mention I'd like to order a "new" one but didn't specify anything else. I received it the second week of August. The boost standby function is definitely on. He said he will gladly take it back to re-flash, really great customer service.

I inquired if 1.5bar is too high and if I should go to 1.4 for 93 and intake/exhaust mods.

Lozic asked for a log with the standard timings. After sending him some he said it's looks very good and is working well. He mentioned 1.5 bar boost is very generous at 93 octane.

The couple weeks I had the ECU installed the car ran well. Felt a smidge faster compared to Map 3.

Just giving my experience but of course do what you feel

My lozic tune should be here this week.
What sold me was easy install and removal, no plug change needed, separate ecu included, amazing power claims, no fuel mixing. Also the available AWD & TCU TUNES.
My tune will be full 1.5 bar

Where/what site did you buy the tune on?

Just got the new ECU with everything fixed. Took a quick 5-minute drive but can confirm no more osolation, the Boost control level is back to normal so the car drives stock, no high boost for no reason but still monsters out at wot. This time my boost standby function is off so everything is super smooth including gear shift now with the TCU. I'm going to give it some time to fully adapt but for a drop-in drive this thing is dialed in. PS mine took exactly seven days on the dot to receive just like last time. Ship Monday receive Monday. Not sure why others take long but I guess if it goes through Chicago there's a hold up. Mine passes through New York in a day.
I'm preparing to fill out my Lozic ECU+TCU tune sheet. Do you know if I choose to have the boost standby function OFF and leave the torque limits ON the TCU launch control: will I still be able to launch .5bar @ 2300RPM? I'm not sure if you optioned your ECU + TCU this way or not. I really want to keep the torque limits on the TCU launch control and I would prefer to leave the boost standby off due to the oscillating it creates sometimes. I would also think that choosing to have the boost standby function on would be more wear and tear on the turbos because they are constantly trying to build boost. Same goes for leaving the torque limits on during launch control. I'm afraid if I choose the have the torque limits turned off I have a higher chance of blowing up my transmission. I have been emailing back and forth with Lozic but I was hoping I might get an answer to my questions on here. Thanks

Very nice! Install asap and report back with results please :)
I’m hoping to install in a little bit. I was on a call and missed the mail person (who wanted a signature) and drove to track him down. I found him after about 10 minutes but my car warmed up. So I’m cooling it down a little before digging in.

Haha perfect!

Glad you tracked him down asap.

Mine showed up today too! But I don't have anything else installed on the car yet, probably load it up over the weekend when I have free time.

Also selling stickers, they are said to give +5 HP!!:p:eek:

How long was shipping for you?
I ordered two, one for my Stinger and one for a buddies G70. Not sure if that made a difference in delivery or not but I got the tracking number on the 27th and they were at my door on the 7th.

Off to the track tomorrow to see if I can improve on the 11.9 I ran last week.

Well I put in the TCU/ECU. I definitely would recommend a magnetic 10mm socket. I didn’t have one and I lost the lower ECU nut in the engine bay. No biggie. Will replace it. However those that have big hands will have trouble getting the nut off the bracket without it. Because of this it took me a little longer to install. Like 20 or so minutes. I drove around this far for about 1/2 hour. I have to be somewhere soon so I will run logs probably this weekend. For the moment I have my JB4 on 0. At first blush it seems like the car is still getting used to the new ECU and TCU. I hear it breathing more. The downshift from 2 to 1 seems a bit abrupt. However, I need to drive it more to get a better sense. I had turned off my BMS pedal tuner initially . I turned it back on cuz well I’m used to a touchy pedal. I’ll keep you guys updated. I’m at the Ford dealership because my wife wants to get the new Mach 1 Mustang. So that will be fun. I will keep you guys updated with more testing!

What mods have been made to your car? Good luck tomorrow!
