5 things I hate about my Stinger GT

You know with the chip shortage, if you don't love your Stinger I'm sure you could sell it fairly quickly.
Just sayin.

I mean the whole diesel scandal plus that noise constantly.. hope they paid you
They didn’t pay me. GTI is not a diesel. They ended up fixing it but it took 9 times over nearly two years

Resale is not good on a stinger.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
55k miles - leak in the firewall when it rains. Backseat turned into a fishbowl and needed repairs.

mine is still rock solid....I don't have 5 things to hate....clearly less than what I like

Huh? Since when? My 2020 is still worth more than what I paid for it a year ago. Also, I don't have any rattles. I had the trunk issue, which I fixed, no other issues with rattling. I came from GM so..........the Stinger is 100x more solid.

The only thing I hate about my Stinger is that I can't just unlock the doors, reach in and put it in N and release the handbrake to roll the car back when I need to ( often ).

I don't LIKE the fake vents but I can live with them.

In Aus the resale value drops like a stone on almost all car and since the Stinger wasn't much of a seller over here to start with, the resale I would expect won't be that good.

Thanks you are right I have a 2018 GT2 that I paid 40K for and it's still worth 35K. Assuming I could actually get that. Maybe I should get rid of this car. It's a good car, but I bought it with winter driving in mind and because of covid my job is now 100% remote. If it weren't for winter driving I would have gotten a V8 Mustang or Camaro with a stick shift

Well, if you want a Camaro you best get one before they're discontinued. I can't imagine those cars as daily drivers.....at least, not here in MN.

I must admit I've fallen in love with the ZL1-1LE that is out right now. Looks incredible!

Would only recommend that if you are going to track. It's a monster, but the regular ZL1 is so much more livable as far as daily driver and suspension. The "regular" ZL1 is still fast on a track. It's kind of like a 911 GTS vs a GT3 RS.

There is not one thing that I can possibly think of that I hate about my car. First off I got it new for $10K of sticker, which allowed my to do the mood I did. I fixed the hatch issue for under $10CDN. I never really noticed any noise issues but for any one with creaks and squeaks, I would highly recommend the ATQ Subframe Bolts. Really tightens things up.

And if you really want to enjoy better handling/cornering get Eibach Springs and Sway Bars.

I get comments about my car all the time. You don't see many around, unlike all the BMW's, Audi's, and Mercedes, so it really stands out in the crowd. When people find out what I got and what I paid they are blown away, especially after what they paid for there's.

Perhaps a ZL1 but with the 1LE aero! ;)

Sounds like you're in a GT2 (fancy / electronic shifter)? Yeah, that's why I went with a GT1 and manual shifter. However, I think if you disable traction control (maybe level 2 disable) and in sport, it may not go back to drive by itself..
doesn t work it with all disabled and in Sport+... like the manual says, goes back after 6 sec of a low gas pedal pressure. Annoying
