Replaced stock Michelin 225/40ZR 19 front tires with Nankang NS-25s

I think you mean understeer. If you turn the wheel but the car doesn't turn because the tire is giving in because of sidewall roll.

I was hoping to see a visual of the sidewall with significant wear past the tread.
Meant oversteer, feels like turning too much. Sorry, they are in tire heaven now, wasn't enough to see except looked a little scuffed on edge. not a serious problem before Just a little nagging thing, I'm just sensitive to road feel. Just was annoying and now it's fixed :p

Have you pushed the tires to the limit? I know they have a high speed rating but it is at the limit that the cheap tires start to show their flaws. the firehawks are cheap but the breakaway point is pretty gradual. Also, you're telling me that an all season tire has better performance than a summer tire?
Feels like oversteer a little, like tire is underinflated, but it's not -- 1st thing to check. Went away with new tires.

Would twitchy response be a better word?

I remember test driving a 2.5T RWD model that exhibited this effect. I didn't pay attention to what tires were on it, but whatever came stock on a '21 or '22 RWD. Car was a demo with about 1500 miles IIRC. I couldn't place it at the time - it was a sensation I had not felt in other vehicles (or my own) before. Maybe way over inflated¿?

I have the PS AS4 on mine now which doesn't exhibit this behavior. In fact I'd say very neutral feeling.

Nope, just drive a little aggressively now and then. Just drive in heavy traffic on the interstate and not track.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
