Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Thank you sir. All GT trim levels have that same behavior? If so, it sounds like I could potentially lose Drift Mode and there would be a question about whether torque vectoring would be added by their TCU and how it would play with the LSD in the rear although the RWD after 2018 have LSDs IIRC. I’ve purposely drifted probably less times than I have fingers on my hands but drift mode is what sets the AWD GTS apart.

Last I checked there's no actual drift mode. The difference is the LSD on the rear allowing you to actually swing it.

Hey, is anybody with a RWD getting a Lozic TCU? Wondering if it worth it, or even made for the RWD. Shifts seem pretty quick to me already, and with EWG connectors holding boost a bit better, is there even any point. Man I wish I had AWD. Not enough to actually buy one though, LOL.
I'm RWD and have the TCU, haven't raced anyone or been to a strip yet but just my experience so far when I finish my build I want anyone to pull up next to me. Its like that.

Only GTS and Indigo have it. It changes the behavior of the center diff allowing close to 100% rear bias. This is controlled by the AWD module though. so if you go the Lozic AWD module I assume you'd lose the function. I don't think the TCU does anything with it, although a good question is does this TCU allow you to hold gears like the GTS/Indigo? You can go all the way to redline in sport + without the trans upshifting in these models.

hmm interesting. so it feels good huh? have you done any Dragy testing or anything?

So got the tcu installed I like it. My question is about launching. So you turn off tc,sc and use the factory launch control? The boost builds up fast and is hard to gauge as I did two burnouts on my awd. I know you can go slow but that stresses out the tranny. How are awd launching without spinning?

It does feel good.
Unfortunately I do not have a Dragy at the moment so I cant present you with before and after data. What I can tell you Is the car feels completely different In a good way.
On my way home tonight on the freeway I did various pulls with the paddles while being on Map1 and my butt dyno and various curse words tell me that on a higher Map/Tune this will feel even crazier.

What pressure are you on, and did you have them set it to shift earlier? Also, is launch control functional? What mods are you running?

Got mine installed yesterday and the shifts are much quicker. I have the pressure 2 can't imagine pressure 3!

Gents here is a log with the tcu installed from this morning. Just a pull not trying anything fancy its so people can see shift points in auto mode. This is pressure 2 and -8%

Looks really good! You are basically running my set-up minus the intercooler. But AWD. Have you run on map 7? I'm getting targets of 7.2 across a wide range of RPM's on Map 7. Also, BMS intercooler has shown me 15 degree IAT drops actually during the pull. it may be your next mod.

Yup I ran a map 7 yesterday but didn't log. I will this weekend as my car is going in for a fresh ceramic coating and won't have it back till Friday. Yeah I was thinking about the intercooler

USPS says its out for delivery!!!

I just got the notice as well that it moved out of the port into USPS, and delivery Edit: Thursday. Not holding my breath on tomorrow, but we'll see.

I got pressure 2, -5%, launch control torque off. Will have to practice feathering the throttle on launches :)

Anyone know if the different pressure settings affect the shifting speed? I.e. does level 3 shift faster than level 2? How much?

Hard to believe it would be much quicker as 2 is pretty damn fast. As you can see in my log boost almost doesn't even drop as gear change is rapid.

How do you use launch control?
