No I'm I had to do a whole 1st gear 2.6 psi reduction not just low rpms. And also slow the spool speed. It was my safe setting so I didn't hit the torque limit. But I did the 10.97 run on my first pass so I left. I didn't try any more runs slowly ramping speed and boost. It has more in it. DA was also only 1500.

Ok, I understand. I tried the same in JB, 1st gear boost redux, I did try 5 psi down and it worked but also lower first gear complete. I havnt tried out this complete yet but I think if Terry and JB find a way to launch with a max boost that you can set and then when brake is released boost will be as usual, then we have the safety and have good launch. It works best I think is to set a rpm in mind and slowly increase rpm to that, when reach it release brake and at the same time go WOT. f we could have a max boost and rpm set by JB4 we could find the best and safe launch.
Interested in purchasing this tune. I am currently running a jb4 and was wondering if this tune requires meth. If so would buying the WMI from jb4 be ideal? I’m almost FBO just missing Downpipes.

I think it makes sense to buy WMI from BMS. There are a lot of safety features Terry has put in (vs another brand. Plus you already have a JB4). Also, from what I have read, while WMI is not needed for the tune, Lozic has said that it works well (and preferable over E85 which they don’t have apparently in Korea). I’m working on getting Lozic. I’m going to add the dps first so I can put it on my order form correctly. I’m glad that I have the BMS EWG wires (really needed if doing heavy modded exhaust)

Downpipes are not needed for the tune but the order form asks the question if you have them. I was planning on getting them any way so hence why I want to get them on first.
I’m looking at the NGT downpipes personally. There are 3 or so primary downpipes choices out there. Seems like NGT are used quite a bit and I haven’t heard much bad about them on the forum. I’m getting them with the 200 HFC cell on em. You can get em straight but I already went delete with the Jun BL secondaries so I’m opting for the HFC for my primaries. Plus reading through the threads, you are more likely to throw codes because of the O2 sensor if you go with deletes on the primaries.
Exactly what I thought so its essentially a brake snip which is what I wanted. Be able to build boost without cutting the wires for the ecu! So turn off the nannies and hold the brake and build revs and let go of the brake to get more powerful launches.
It's enjoyable in Sport and I can understand why some like it. I was just hoping for smoother shifts in Comfort where I spend most of time anyways. The shifts are not unbearable, just more present that I would like when at +40% throttle or so.
I have already ordered a Level 2 and should (hopefully) be perfect for me!

So has anyone been able to actually get the launch control ready to pop up on the screen with the ecu/ tcu tune. I have talked with lozic alot and tried every launch combination possible and I can't get it to do it. I'm wondering even tho I ordered torque limit off if it's actually not turned off.

I have both torque options. The usual sport mode with nannies turned off for both. With ON you mash it to the floor, holds rpms, launch control pops up same as just having the ECU. With OFF, not mashing pedal, it holds the same rpms as ON as you press down on the pedal all the way to about 60-80% total travel until you cross a certain threshold then the launch active pops up and boost climbs higher quickly. As soon as I hear the launch control chime I let off the brake and mash it.
