Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Sent payment for the whole shebang! So now I got an extra TCU to sell lol.

Bull dog did you join the lozic party and order? I know you were on the fence.

Ordered TCU before price increase..

Incase anyone here hasn't seen it yet, Official track slip from WilliamsJ41.

lozic 1.5 ecu/tcu with jb4, brake snip, E50 cpi full bolt ons, and 250ml meth nozzle
1st gear boost reduction of 2.6psi and turbo spool speed down to 48

He is using JB4 to go down in boost at low rpm, like go down in duty bias at low rows rpm?

What settings?!
I can say I ordered -5% but sent him an email based on my math and another person on here to change to -8% to stay in the sweet spot of the power band and 2 for pressure.

Think I'm gonna do that too thanks

Just an FYI, I listed my TCU for sale just now, for anyone who's interested. Full specs are in the for sale thread.

Where are the prices? Didn’t see them on the form. Essentially $1k for ECU & TCU separately?

Well I kind of have a junk yard car it's got a little bit of everything. The greatest majority is BMS and lozic. I am full bolt on bms intakes, bms occ, jb4, hks plugs, mishimoto intercooler, hfc downpipes, stillen cat back, and cpi. I only got the 1.5 bar tune no crackle and pop or flames. With cpi I just use pump gas e85 and 93 mix. I am trying to change the emixture a little on each fill up to see how it acts. I can't say I have found a clear stand out yet. But that setup comes with major draw backs such as weather dropping below about 70 degf if I'm running a strong emix the hpfp will crash. Korea doesn't use ethanol so the tune can act a little wild on its own at time with it. I have not ran meth with it he did tell me it was setup to be compatible with wmi already. Also always knowing where a e85 pump is sucks and a big hit in mpg. I never really pushed the oem ecu much I did do a strait race fuel map5 vs lozic base tune and I can tell the lozic tune was faster. Because of my ethanol content I have to use the jb4 fuel wires at all times to try to keep afr adjusted right. It hasn't been a walk in the park I have ran into alot of problems most are probably self inflicted such as down pipes makes it overboost and the ethanol. I never sent it back for a re flash it takes about a month or so on a turn around for 1 adjustment. I also have one of the first ecu in the states I would think it probably has had some adjustments made now. 1.5 bar doesn't run on 93 by its self from what I seen it requires meth or cpi. Everything I went WOT I was pulling up to 10 deg retard on ign 2-6. I am having the stall in 1st gear almost every time just at the drag strip. Could be user error or just something tiny I have to figure out. Never have a problem on the street with that. It also went through a spell for a few days and sometimes still tries to completely kill the car after a 1/4 pull when you let off completely. It has taken me up to about 5 mins to get the car started the log showed it kept timing advance way to high and stuck at idle is what kills it and doesn't let it start. But all that being said most of the time it's pretty good and it's very fast I have ran 10s in the 1/4 6 times now and went sub 3 sec 0-60 about 5 times. But the more people that get the tune and work together the faster it can all get ironed out.
What are your thoughts on the stillen catback ? just ordered ark downpipes and interested in Stillen want the performance but not the loud sound and sound clips? can't find any with secondary downpipe included.

2 / -5% / torque off. Wanted faster shifts, better launch. Went with the "recommended" -5% shifting pattern.

I dont know if -5% is recomended or if it just in the order sheet from start. Other says that -8% is optimal for shifting and I can agree if you want to stay best in power band. With -5% it will shift at about 6.080 rpm, with -8% it will probably be at 200 rpm less. My best times when I have shift manual is around 5.800 rpm. And... even if you go for lower shifts you can shift higher in manual mode. Red light is the same.

Shifts is much better, shorter in time and also will hold up boost when shifting. Pressure 2 is very much like stock when you drive daily driving. Pressure is also a max pressure so if you do cruising with lower torque, pedal and boost it is soft.

same question here. I asked them and they want me to tell them what I want. Power by mode or same HP for all modes. What does everyone else have?

I think it doesnt matter as you decide by pedal. As I have JB4 I have different maps on my wiper swich, also 1 with "valet" that is half stock boost and I can say fuel consumtion is much better there as turbos not answer so much and its really nice to drive with that. Feels soft.

So if you think that is a factor go for less power in Eco/Comfort and have full at Sport!

He told me that they don't want to do power by mode, actually. He implied it was a personal project, not something available from the manufacturer, but he didn't like it for whatever reason. I asked for details but it seems difficult to explain - I gather he's not comfortable describing it over Google Translate. Which I can understand! We would likely interpret it incorrectly and make unjust implicit judgements.

That's why I'm asking for experiences with the feature. Do the users notice something unrefined about power-by-mode? Do you think your tune is somehow less effective because of it (for example, are the torque limits in place, or can you only increase the power output if the car is in park... That sort of thing)?

For the TCU tuning, if you left the Torque limits ON, would the car in launch mode operate just like stock? Or better??
