Rear Tires with Nails in Them

Each of my OEM rear tires have both been punctured with a large nail and a screw in the last 2 months. I am not sure if it is back luck or how soft and sticky these summer tires are. I have used summer tires on 2 other vehicles in the last 12 years and I have never picked up the 1st nail. I do not ride through any area where home or commercial construction is obvious and I know my driveway is clear of debris. Anyone else having this problem? BTW I only have 5,400 miles on my 2019 GTS.

possibly a utility truck has spilled some nails driving by somewhere... I got a screw in my stinger rear tire my second week of ownership with 600 miles on the clock! but that week, i also picked up a nail in our hummer and our bmw.. talk about frustrating!!!
edit: oh, we only have all seasons on our vehicles...

Probably just bad luck, the pilot sport tires are definitely sticky though, so they might hang onto a nail more than other tires, but I wouldnt overthink it. In my area we have a road that has a dump on it, all summer long guys are dropping off construction junk and I've started avoiding that road because of the nails that fall off the trailers.

Bad luck. I've had my car over forty months (c. 43K miles). And less than 3K miles ago I opted to replace my rear tires since I had a screw in one of them (they put a plug in while I was waiting over the weekend for my new tires to come in): that's the only time I got "nailed".
