new Kia emblem

I'm wondering if anyone was able to figure out if the new Kia emblem will hide the holes on bumper or not.
also, does anyone know where to buy one at reasonable price?
ones I see are like $30

I am looking to get OEM one as I don't know how long those ones from etsy are going to last.
I want to do it right once.

I vaguely remember seeing a post that showed how to size and/or position the new logo to cover the holes in the hood. If I recall correclty, keeping the proportions of the new OEM logo means either positioning it slightly off-center or scaling it up to be quite large.

I think that post ended up being incorrect. I’ve seen a few people that swapped the badges for the oem one and it covers the holes

I've seen them, too. They're all off center. You can't get around having to cover the holes in the bumper.

Do people typically fill the holes under where the logos were with silicone? I'm changing the front and back and while the holes will be covered by new badging not sure if i should seal them as well

It actually went pretty smoothly. There is a bit of scuffing around where the edges of the badge were but not paint damage. Next time I get it detailed I'll have them buff it out.

Did a bit of clean up buffing around the back logo, got all the discoloration out of the clear coat.

Have to wait for actual sunlight to confirm but looks better

I know from reading here that the new KIA is taped on, no holes behind the '22; the steering wheel logo is fastened on by bent tabs behind: you'll have to disable your airbag and remove the center round piece to get at the tabs. Or, just put on an overlay.

The new 2022 Logo is just held on with adhesive. It doesn't align perfect to the front holes though so it will be a bit off center.

The logo on the steering wheel is simply an adhesive overlay that sticks on the existing one. You don't have to remove anything.

Neither, you can get pretty much anything from the KDM store attached to this site except for the new 2022 logo. The only place I've seen that is Etsy and EBay.
