Has minor timing on map3. Otherwise, looks good.

I think the corrections are a bit larger than minor, 4.5 to 5.3. 91 even with E isn't enough octane for Map3. Do you have a Map1 or Map2 log to compare?1-timing.webp

I don’t have any map 2 log with the e30 mix yet but will do a couple more test runs later. Will more e85 help correct the timing with 91 octane?

NOOOOO, LOL. Anything more than e30 and your HPFP won't be able to keep up and it WILL crash. (It takes more E to keep AFR correct, but has more octane)

Oh ok sorry still new to tuning. I’m tryna still figure out how everything works together. So since I’m in California 93 octane is pretty much out the question so boostane would be the alternative but i heard it turns spark plugs orange. So what would I have to change to run map 3 efficiently? Sorry for the paragraph lol

You're really stuck unless you run Octane boost. Yes, it does give the plugs an orange hue but it's harmless. Who cares right? I didn't when I used E27 and Octane boost to break the world record, LOL.
With 91 Octane and enough E to make E30, you have just a smidge over 93 Octane. Map 2 is about the best your going to get.

Okay thank you for the reply. Another question with boostane could I just pump 91 and raise the octane rather than pumping both e85 and 91 just so I don’t have to go to different pumps at the gas station? If so what octane would be enough for map 3 possibly map 4?

MAP 3 is the definition of.."if ya got it, ya got it. If ya don't, ya don't". Throughout the tuning forums, MAP 3 has been the tell/tell map as to what your setup is capable of. It's a shame CA can't do better than 91 but there is a reason for that and in a few years, it won't matter as EV's will take over(trust me, not a big fan of that reality).

As @AWDGT2 stated, with the timing corrections, map 3 should be avoided like COVID...(IN 2021, saying "avoid it like the plague", no longer applies...LOL). Going to be hard to "cheaply" make up that octane difference....

Oh ok gotcha. Any upgrades you recommend that would be a step in the right direction? So far I only have the denso step 1 plugs, injen intakes, and the jb4.

Some folks go with exhaust but know this...... the reason for the hard truth is not to dash your aspirations to get more performance from your Stinger but to keep potential for failure at a 'minimum". Anytime you go down the tuning path, there are risks...trust me, I know about this as I had to have my engine replaced when I had my Stinger(all the dealer told me was broken rod...so no proof that mods played a part even though i only ran jb4/plugs/drop filter)

Was not a fun experience and I missed the car for over a month!!!! Not saying that what you are doing will result in an engine failure but trust me, @AWDGT2 knows what the heck he is talking about and if you need any proof, just check out the "fastest 1/4 mile" thread....link included. listen to the guy......no need to say anything else.

Exactly. I just want a nice setup that I can daily drive that keeps things like engine failure at a minimum just to keep things running properly. Anyways I logged a map 2 run earlier today. I did one pull from 1-3 gear. Still e30 mix

Hmm, interested to see what AWDGT2 has to say. Timing deviations are still pretty large. Ignition 2-6 showing some big numbers. In a perfect world they should be all 0's or at least less than 1. I've personally seen some 2's and low three's occasionally, but usually all less than 1. Before water meth, the most I could run was map 2 on 93 octane. It still looks like your octane is not high enough. Maybe log a map 1 just for comparisons sake. Terry from Burger might chime in too.

Can you get map1 with your current octane and emix?

Here’s a map 1 pull. Perhaps I got a bad batch of 91 or e85 for higher maps?

There's your winner I bet. Still pulling some timing but lower than the other two. The octane just isn't supporting it. Are your plugs gapped spot on? .022? Did you check them yourself before putting them in?

Yes plugs are gapped to .022 I double checked before putting them in since it’s a pain installing them lol. Maybe I’ll try a different gas station?

Yes. New gas and logs starting at map 1. Watch those ignition numbers. Now you have a baseline for all three maps though.

Okay thanks for the reply. I’ll try a new gas station and when I have time I’ll pull the plugs out see how they look.

I agree with @StingertimeNC that map2 was bad. If I could make a recommendation it would be this....
Methanol...
It's the only safe way to increase octane and get the benefits of cooling your charge temps. You will be able to go from 4psi over stock to 6 or 7 conservatively. Running Map7 does wonders for the engine too like cleaning the valves. GDI engines don't get the benefit of gasoline cleaning the valves, so the Meth does a great job at that. It's a win, win, win. Octane increase, Boost increase, Cleaner valves, Cooler charge temps. The kit is probably less than what it cost for an exhaust system.
If your all in, then an IC should be on your bucket list and at a minimum a Cat Back system.
