If I'm understanding correctly, that either means it's caused by the JB4 or by other aftermarket parts, such as downpipes, right?

Yes. but not JB4,

Some intake filters have no symptoms, some intake filters have symptoms.

Some downpipes have no symptoms and others have symptoms.

Symptoms are whether the car is rumbling or the boost shows a different peak value than usual. Like the sound of the exhaust buzzing. Etc.

So it could be caused by something as simple as AEM intakes and a catback exhaust your saying?

Well I'm fbo apart from recently installing the tcu and trying to figure out this lozic ecu

ya but usually dtc isnt shown to people in a check engine light, but rather a secret story teller lol
