As I had mentioned, I would share the final result once this kit was installed. They had to arrive first, and the wait time on these is painful.
All went well with the install. Its a pretty straight- forward process. Given that, my son swore he had a corner lined up properly before I pressured out the tape and sealant. Turns out, he was slightly off by about a quarter of an inch, which made its way off, pulling the end of the winglet out a bit from the wheel arch. So its not flush with the wheel arch on the RH. I couldn’t be Reed Richards and verify with my eyes b/c I was in an awkward position by lining up the Super Nut on the side. It takes two to install this.
I pondered the choice of leaving it be, since if I broke the bond and started over, my $400 3M Clear Bra
would have been torn. What do you guys think? Surely, it’d like a second chance, but i’m pretty pleased over all. This kit makes the car look dang sharp. I’ll get used to the mark my son left on it.
