I have a 2018 Stinger GT2 AWD.. I have installed intakes, cat back exhaust and JB4 tuner with plugs and bluetooth. I noticed today that when starting it took about 15 to 20 seconds of cranking before it started. Normally it has been hit the button and it starts. I have been running 93 octane fuel and map 2 on the JB4. Wondering if that is causing issues or it is normal now. The tuner has been on the car for about 3 weeks or more. Thing is awesome I must stay..

Any ideas?

I agree.

Uninstall the tuner and see if it starts right up. 15-20 cranking time is pretty long.

Temporarily removing the JB4 only takes a couple minutes to see if that might be causing the issue.

So my testing went as follows:
1 unhooked JB4 from OBDII port. Started just how it should.
2 Hooked JB4 back up to OBDII port. Started just how it should.
3. Started Sunday with JB4 installed just as it should. Ran on a long drive for 4 hours. Everything good.
4. Started Monday morning with JB4 installed just as it should. 30 minute drive to work all good.
5. Started after work. Long start. all warning lights flashing and Check engine light on.
6. Unhooked JB4 again started like it should, but check engine light still on.

So I am guessing I have something going on with a new JB4.

I would leave it unhooked for a while before making the determination that it is bad. The CEL will likely remain on until cleared or you complete some number of driving cycles with no detected faults.

What are the codes though?

Not sure yet don't have a code reader and didn't get a chance to take it by the autopart store. The onboard diagnostics says something wrong with the control system.

Code is a P0106. Checked it today and erased it. Also as a note, no JB4 on the car and still had the starting issue this morning

I'm having the same issue after removing a JT exhaust and going back to stock.

All of a sudden the car cranks for a few seconds on start up but eventually fires.

Error code: camshaft position sensor error p0365

I'm guessing the mechanic who changed over the Exhausts has either broken or not plugged the cam sensor back in properly.

I'll update you guys once I find out but might be a good place to start looking for those having the same delayed start issues.

I'm having the same issue with my 2018 GT2 and the same P0365 code. I swapped both camshaft sensors and clear the codes but I'm still having the same issue and the same code comes back with all the same side effects. Were you able to figure yours out?

I'm a mechanic and I'm dealing with the same p0365 on a 18 stinger gt1, that others have looked at and wasn't fixed! The problem was, just like the 4cyl, the cam gear alignment pin walked inward into the camshaft causing the gear to turn slightly on the cam causing a p0365 every time the car was started!
