There are two types of genuine Stinger floor mats. One with the word “Stinger” the other with “Stinger GT”.

I negotiated the “Stinger GT” car mats but when the car was delivered it just had the plain “Stinger”. No big deal I thought until I noticed the passenger side kept folding over.

It’s a bit thin and it lacks a clip on the foot end so I’d guess this would be a common issue.
Turns out even though there is only $10 difference between the two types, the one with “Stinger GT” has a more premium feel and is much thicker/heavier so doesn’t fold over.
I got them to look at the mats at the free 3 month complimentary seevice and they swapped out all the mats for the “Stinger GT” type.
Make sure you spec the “Stinger GT” carpets on the contract and that’s what gets delivered.
