Hey i have a 2020 stinger v6. Im not really in tune with this whole tuning thing. However i have brought some sparkplugs to get them re gapped. I read somewhere that the rc is not as good as the jb4 but it is simpler. I just want to buy the beat product

I’ve had both. They give similar performance gains when you compare apples to apples and just run better octane fuel. The difference comes when you start modding you car more. The JB4 can be taken further with more mods where the RC will not keep up.
I had an issue running the RaceChip fouling the plugs in a little under a year. This is due to they do not tie into the O2 sensors unlike JB4. Since RC does not tie into the O2 sensors with fuel wires they have to guess and build fuel tables based on their testing. Obviously they are going to have to build in some fudge factor so they error on the side of being fat. If they errored on being lean well bad things start happening. The worst of erroring on being fat is a little worse gas mileage, or in my case, fouled plugs.
As far as installation is concerned they are both about the same. Three connection Ts for the RC and 2 main ones for the JB4 and then you can get Ts for the fuel wires that make that pretty easy. If you get the EWG wires that is pretty far down in the engine bay so if you plan on getting a cold air intake I’d do the EWG and CAI at the same time.
The hardest part on installing these devices is not the actual device, but rather the spark plugs. Get some swivels (3/8” and 1/4”), extensions, and a magnetic spark plug socket and it makes it doable without taking off the intake.

JB4 is far superior to the RC. Optional fuel wires and EGW wires. Fuel wires alone will gain hp!

I dont plan on doing those type of mods for another year or so after i pay off the car so for now should i just regap the plugs and get a jb4, that way i dont have the fouling of the plug issues. As far as octane goes i only buy 93 from either shell on bp, I’ve been looking up if octane boosters should be used with the jb4. What do you know about this? Yeah

You really only need octane booster such as boostane or torch (avoid the stuff at walmart) if you are going to run a higher map than map 2. I really wouldn’t run those octane boosters all the time, but if you take it to the track, mix up a batch and run a tank of it then go back to map 2 and 93 octane. I’ve seen some very yellow spark plugs with people running boostane all the time.
Also after you get it installed do some data logging and send them in to get reviewed before going to the next step. Better to catch something that is a-miss early before giving her the beans than find out later when something was not right and it goes boom.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Also compare how many posts racechip makes on this forum vs Terry.

There's no comparison when it comes to post-purchase support.

RaceChip is a pretty junky tune. If you're going to get one buy it used, they sell for less than half what they go for new, because so many people end up dumping them.

Details on the technical differences here: JB4 Frequently Asked Questions

Racechip is a boost controller. Jb4 gives you the ability to data log, fuel wires, and support from Terry.

Oh okay so they actually make adjustments for your car after you log your drives thats dope

To be honest, I sold my VN for the stinger because of the jb4. I was so impressed with how well the N was with a Jb4 I knew the stinger would be a monster. I run map 3 with E25, my buddy took a ride the other day and called it "violent"
