Haven't decided what I'm doing with the motor. Has higher miles about 150k but I know for a fact it was babied it's entire life. I inherited it from my Dad when he passed away. He rarely, if ever drove his cars hard, that's just how he was.
Engine is bone stock. I do have a catted dp and catback that is ready to go in once I take it outta storage. My main goal was to get the truck road worthy. After he passed, it sat at my parents house in FL for 7 years.
Luckily the engine has run smoothly for the time that I've had it. I really wanna throw pulley, plugs, mild tune at it and see how it holds up. I basically redid the suspension with new parts, have a mild lowering kit to throw on it still. Not looking for crazy power levels. 500 or so to the wheels should be plenty good for it to be really fun but still be able to cruise in it.
One thing that sucks about the L is that some parts are hard to come by. I get my stuff via LMR but this winter my front grill surround cracked (because of the heat/cold I guess?) And that piece isn't even made anymore for the 01 up trucks. So I'll most likely have to see if a body shop can fix it.
NGM makes an axle back kit. Will need tips to help with drone though. I havent put any on because its not that bad to me. However ive got the 2.0 so i cant speak for the 6 cylinder

I have the NGM mufflers, love it too and "connected" it to the oem tips with rubber extrusions to lessen inherit drone. See here Exhaust Tips. I've since improved this by using rubber tile on the backing plate instead of foam (as that eventually heat deformed).
I checked Torks website. They have an option for the exhaust with vibrant ultra quiet mufflers. I assume that’s a misprint and they meant resonators because I couldn’t find any ultra quiet mufflers listed on vibrants webpage. I’ve sent two emails to tork but haven’t heard back. Guess I’ll have to call them.
