Hi All,

My wife just got a 2021 Kia Stinger GT Limited AWD. Snow White on Red. We started down the Kia path looking at the Telluride to replace her 2009 Ford Edge Sport, but we also test drove the Stinger. Great interior and performance that left her thinking that she might be ok with a car again...

I'm driving a Mazda3 Sport 6spd, Polymetal over Red, so our cars have matching interiors now! Summer car is a 2007 BMW M Coupe (Z4MC).

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on the brand new Stinger! I'm glad you found us. :)

Welcome to the hive! Post up some pics when you get a chance. What part of Canada are you in?

Hello and welcome! Congrats on your wife's new toy! :D

Btw that's so crazy you mention you own a 2007 M-Z4MC because last weekend my gf and I were running some errands and we saw a red one with a very nice aftermarket exhaust fooling around on the local streets before taking the exit to the bridge... such beautiful cars!!!:thumbup:

Got some Magnaflows on mine. Sounds great IMO. Mine's Interlagos Blue on Carbon Black.

Howdy and welcome. So, you're the forum member, vicariously for your wife the Stinger ace. Sounds good to me. :D

Went with 18s with 235 width Michelin XIce Snows after reading the 'warped rotors' thread. KIA dealer had made a recommendation to not fit 18s due to warped rotors and I was pretty sure they didn't know what they were talking about (like most ppl who think warped rotors are a thing).

The handling is definitely not sharp anymore, but as the tires wear a bit it should improve. We were looking for great snow performance over sporty winter handling, thus not choosing a HP winter tire.

Aren't you about ready to take those off? I don't see a trace of snow anywhere. :P

I couldn't give up UHP just because it is going to snow. Roads are cleared off and nearly always 95% dried out by the following afternoon. I can, and do, drive slowly and carefully in the meantime. And at the earliest opportunity (first week in March last year; last week this year) I get the summer tires and wheels put back on.

The weather here is really unpredictable. Wife works days and afternoons at a factory, so early morning and late night driving. Roads are often not plowed and we live in the country.

As for why they're on, wanted to check fitment, TPMS function, ect before discovering in November that they won't work. They'll be coming off in a week or two.
