No I haven’t. I assume Stinger script but who knows.I forgot to ask, any of you have seen any official rear end photo of the refresh for Canada?
Do we get the Stinger script (like USA) or the new Kia Logo on top of the trunk?
Yeah the outgoing 2.0t was underpowered for the Stinger and the wheels, trim and options on the old GT Line were not very appealing. A 300hp 2.5t with decent options though is nothing to take lightly and I think would have sold better than the old one. I’d take it over a FWD K5 GT any day. Perhaps if it sells in the US it will come back to Canada.Seem like in Canada people were buying mostly exclusively the GT Limited. The sales for the 2.0T was very very low and also the GT sales were not very good.
I guess KIA figured out that same thing would happen even with the new 2.5T, who knows?

The scorpion package the US gets sounds ok but why only black out the mirrors, side vents and exhaust tips? I’d want the grille and upper window trim black. It’s also annoying that Canada doesn’t get packages like that."instant classic" - not sure about that

The 2022 Kia Stinger Could Be An Instant Classic - Jalopnik
The Kia Stinger, you probably have heard by now, is the real deal, an honest challenger to a car like the BMW M340i. And cheaper, too. On Tuesday, Kia confirmed that the base model will get 300 horsepower, or 45 horsepower more than the outgoing, as we first heard in August. The Kia Stinger is...jalopnik.com
Yeah, the canadian GT-line was so stripped down nobody bought it. Like, no sunroof? A stinger with all the luxury features and the 2.5T would sell.Yeah the outgoing 2.0t was underpowered for the Stinger and the wheels, trim and options on the old GT Line were not very appealing. It does. You can build and price one online and it shows the LSD on the Elite.GT Elite better include the mechanical LSD (Limited Slip Differential) (that should have been on the old GT Limited from the outset). Didn't see that in list above...
Thanks for confirming. @Jayphil can add that critical item to his listsIt does. You can build and price one online and it shows the LSD (Limited Slip Differential) on the Elite.
With the car in Sport it activates. Not ideal for sure. It also barely changes tone based on reviews i've watched and their feedback. The other thing that is so obviously new and important, but no review I have seen so far elaborates, is how is the bi-modal exhaust is controlled or triggered. If KIA was competent, they would make sure the owner has the ability to decide whether the activation is based on throttle position, rpm or drive mode. And, that this setting is available in the Custom drive mode options.
I expect it will be not controllable and probably based on the dumbest trigger option, and restricted to Sport mode. Prove me wrong, people!!
Haha probably not but the new keyfob has a remote start button on it just like the K5 now. I don't think they added cooled seats as a controllable option. Haven't heard that anyway.Does the new amazing improved UVO take less than 2 minutes of fumbling to remote start the car and can it control the seat coolers as it always should have been able to?
So, it's just permanently on/open in Sport mode with no other control? And it's too tame? Is it an option in Custom drive mode? With the car in Sport it activates. Not ideal for sure. It also barely changes tone based on reviews i've watched and their feedback.
LOL you're on a roll! Also likely not addressed. They'd have to change the way the air is vented to the rear to fix that.Does the new wireless charging pad still overheat when the rear independent heater is on...rendering it useless for about 9 months of the year in Canada?
Yes, i believe permanently on in Sport but I don't know how/if you can turn it on in Custom. I would hope so!So, it's just permanently on/open in Sport mode with no other control? And it's too tame? Is it an option in Custom drive mode?
Nope, just install proper insulation so less heat transfers into that part of the console.LOL you're on a roll! Also likely not addressed. They'd have to change the way the air is vented to the rear to fix that.
