Newbie checking in

Hi all

I wanted to say hi and thank you all for your contributions to this site. I’ve spent lots of time as a lurker reading and learning from many threads but I still have a few questions.

Back when the Stinger was released I wasn’t in the market for a new car and I was a bit indifferent on the Stinger. I think I had some badge snobbery at the time and the shape/contours didn’t work for me at the time. But for some reason in the past few months as I’ve watched more reviews, read more and looked at different angles and colour combinations, it’s grown on me - to the point where I simply must have one (White or grey with red if you must know). I then started reading and watching all the modifications that could (should) be done and I’m now questioning which mods to get without even having the car yet. Some of those YouTube videos showing 800rwhp on the dyno had me at half mast. And then I started watching videos of fully bombed GTRs and Supras...

I‘m in Melbourne BTW.

Not yet. Sat in one last week and heard it turn over but the Dealer wasn’t exactly gonna bounce it off the redline as it was already sold. I liked what I heard with the bimodal, but I know how much better it can sound with some mods.

I‘m not aware of any Dealerships here in Melbourne that have idle stock available for a test drive either. So I’m going to have rely upon the hundreds of positive reviews online to buy my car untested.

The dealer noted that that any custom order would take 6-7 months before I took the keys. Could be looking at MY22 model by then.

It's called Stinger fever but it looks like you are putting the cart before the horse, Maybe buy one first before working out all the mods you may be doing. You never know, you may like it stock. Welcome to the forum. `
