Also... are they jacking the price up because they can guarantee to get it done as soon as possible? I remember my buddy had to get some cosmetic work done on his car and they lowered the price a little bit because he said he wasn't in a rush and they could work on other customers' cars...

Hi there ... looks like you have a Ceramic grey Stinger? Did you end up getting the roof and antenna wrapped in black? If so, I'd be interested in seeing some photos, considering the same thing for my Ghost grey (Cdn colour name). Just not sure if I want only the roof portion that lines up with the black sunroof portion, or if I want the front pillars wrapped and strips on the roof that they line up with too. (if that makes sense) Plan to leave the black chrome as-is. Anyhoo, if you have any pics I'd love to see them! TIA!
So Painted the fin myself , and did not do the pillars , not your color but it gives you a sense of this strategy , there are a few here that have done the fill roof and pillars as well
I can say for the roof and pillars about $450-$500 is reasonable. Not sure what the chrome delete consists of (emblems, wheel caps, etc).

Yep, definitely gives me an idea of the look. One of my favourite things about my Veloster is the black pillars and black sunroof/hatch glass against the white body. And I remember the first time I noticed an Optima, it was [what seemed like] a massive expanse of black glass on the roof that really stuck out. As many have already said, I think Kia dropped the ball on that little detail on the Stinger ... but nothing that can't be remedied! Thanks for the photo!

After my initial post, I did a search for "black roof" and found some great photos (sadly, no ghost/ceramic grey ones yet) that have also helped ... not the least of which is @Ric 'Ochet 's orange with black pillars/roof/rails. Yeah, that convinced me!! It looks gorgeous
