I checked all the fuses yesterday but all of them are intact. Tried DC'ing the battery as well but no luck.
They worked perfectly prior to going through the wash and now nothing is working. Any ideas or help with this would be much appreciated!
Also, there is no water ingress under the hood or hatch or near any of the main fuse locations.
I'm stumped.

Try putting your Stinger in a big bucket filled with rice.

It sometimes works for cell phones...

I'd head to the dealer, don't want to mess around with possible electric issues. I would think it would be covered by the warranty, going through the carwash isn't exactly abusing the coverage.

Most of that is run off the 15 amp fuse in the rear panel compartment. Think its second row down 3rd to the right

I *think* I found the cause. There apparently was water getting in. Apparently the little sail panel piece on the exterior of the driver side window went missing after the car was at my fathers home. I can only assume that is where it got in as it was a bit moist to the touch (The little foam bits behind the holes where it should be) this morning.
Seems after it all dried out everything is in working order again. Just took it on a little romp for about an hour and everything is as it should be!

Now I know what I am ordering next. :D *

*Update*

The issue is still present and seems to occur every few (3-4) times the car is started.
I will update again once the dealer is back up and running from the ransomware attack and I can get the car in to service.

Could you show what you are talking about? I can't visualize it from what you said.

is this the piece you are talking about? if so, looks inexpensive.

That is exactly it! Thank you so much. Back in my day we called it a sail panel or finisher. I guess they just call it a trim piece now, good to know. Thanks again.
How in heck could it just come off sitting at your father's house?

I have no idea honestly. It was there and then it was gone. Battery being dead at the time also didn't help matters since I would have assumed an alarm of some sort would have alerted him, but again, who knows. Just glad it is inexpensive and easily attainable.

I’ve had problems with this exact piece when simply washing the mirror. Pops right out, and now my trim on the driver’s side is a little off. Might be a driver’s side only problem? Not sure, but can verify this is one of those odd little weak points.

Just wanted to update the thread and say I got the piece I needed. Thanks again to @vipeboy2000 for the info.
Also to note, that trim piece is barely held in by a couple very shallow clips so not surprised that it went on walkabout. I might see about using a small machine screw from the inside to secure it in place once I get the car back and get it in there. Then again, it may be just fine as is. *shrug*
Car has been at the dealer since last Friday for the battery drain issue. Just now got off the phone and apparently the tech who was supposed to be working on it quit? Not sure what that's about but the service manager said that I would not be billed any additional hours to get it looked at again by a different tech he is assigning to it. I *should* be getting a call back about the status on Monday. They did also note that the issue with the lighting for the HVAC , Shifter and seat heaters comes and goes and is in fact an electrical issue and had nothing to do with the car being run through the wash, so at least I know I didn't break something on accident.

Anyhow, thanks again and I will update as things progress.

Why would you be billed for anything at all (besides that sail/finishing piece)? Your car is under warranty, is it not?

Unfortunately, the car has a salvaged title, so repair costs are my responsibility.

*UPDATE*

So, TLDR: I'm going to try and fix it myself. (I was an L1 Automotive Tech for 15 years, now retired and don't have many tools anymore, but I still have the basics)

Dealer had the car for a week +. Got a call today and they said that they need me to buy a new battery so they can test the car as the current one is dead. (No shit, I brought it in for a battery drain issue and had to jump start it to get it moving in the first place)
I asked if they had a battery machine at the dealer as when I worked at one, we did and would regularly use it to provide the necessary voltage when we would do electrical troubleshooting. Service manager says he doesn't know but the techs said they need a new battery.
I asked if, as a dealer, they had another battery anywhere that they could use for the purposes of testing while my car was there and he said, I shit you not, the Stinger battery is bigger and we don't have one in stock.
Ok.
I politely explained that ANY battery would do the job and the physical size didn't matter as long as it was a passenger car battery, it would be fine. Again, "But the Stinger battery is larger in size and we don't have one.
Ok. "So, what should I do then?" (SM) "Can you come up and take the battery and get a new one to us by tomorrow?"
Me "You expect me to drive 45 minutes to you guys to take the battery that is in there so I can drive 45 minutes back home to do a warranty exchange and then drive back up to deliver it to you?" SM"...... yeah I guess that is a bit much" Me "I'll be there in a while."

I show up, ask to pick up my car and he asks if I just want the battery. I say "No thank you, I would like my car. It has been here since last Friday and it is now Monday. I think 10 days is plenty to diag a battery issue and since your technicians seem to not know how to do a simple task or operate their own machinery, I will no longer be trusting you with my car.

He pulled my car up and said they would not be charging me anything and he was apologetic about the techs. Apparently there has been a high rate of turnover in their department in the last month and he had only been SM for a week.

FML.

At least I have my car back in my own driveway where I can test it properly and do whatever until it is fixed.

Sorry for the rant but holy shit that was just so frustrating to deal with. Back in my day as a tech I took pride in my work and in 15 years never had a single complaint or comeback for any work I performed. I always came in under book and always had customers sending their friends to request me since I never treated anyone like a moron, I was respectful and always told them what was going on. No BS. People appreciate that.
What they don't appreciate is total lack of communication unless you want to get them to approve more work that you aren't actually doing. I am just dumbfounded that this is what passes for "Service" anymore.

IDK about your dealership but the one I've been going to states that they have a Stinger-specialized tech, implying that maintenance and diagnosis is extremely different/difficult compared to the other Kia econoboxes. Now based on your rant, I wonder if that's even true anymore...

oh hey, i missed this. I should make it so that a notification comes on whenever salvage title is mentioned lol. Anyways check the status of the front harness that goes to the front bumper. one of the wires is responsible for the gear shifter lights in the gt2. yeah, i know it's pretty strange but it also contains the rpm and speed display wires.

Thanks, mine is just a base GT but I will get under there and have a look. The front bumper is damaged, so there may be an issue hiding out under there. The salvage title apparently means you get raped at the dealer with no lube and nothing actually gets done for your trouble. Meh.
