Is that a generic mount? The only pro-clip mount I see for the Stinger is the one for the left side of the display.

Id love to get a wireless charger but I also want to use android auto... For now my phone will just sit in a cupholder I guess.. hehe

If you can sacrifice a cup holder it’s a good spot since your hand is naturally resting in the area. For the times I want to use ApplePlay I keep a foot long usb cable and run that through an access port on back of this holder up to the phone. It’s barely noticeable and clean. Personally I drive with my hand resting on the shifter so this makes going back and forth really easy.

What is the name of this mount?

Belkin Mobile cup mount

Feels solid and well made. Holds the phone tight with easy in/out. Amazon reviews people complain it breaks. The only reason that happens is because people over tighten, important thing is to secure it firmly, but not tight. The way the mechanism is designed it will pop the bottom or top if over tightened, can't stress enough. Had it for over 2 years no issues. Bonus is the pass thru port at the base, allows for nice cable management when using Carplay.

Conveniently keeps phone close to me without having to hold in my hands while I drive.

Also prevents me from Forgetting the phone when I exit.

In case anyone has been wondering there is a vent mount that fits the round center Stinger vents:

2 different phone mounts options purchased separately. I modified one to use with a quad lock. You would think it would be wobbly attaching to the vent, but so far so good.

Put phone in cup holder. I’m worried about the cable sticking out and if it will damage the sliding door.

Nah it will sling out when cornering, the best spot is where the cubby where you open the center console.

For maps/GPS I put it by the cig lighter and keys underneath to angle it towards me.

A window mount or dash mount would be the best tho. You never have to look down n can constantly see ahead
