Good idea. I’m at half tank now so I’ll fill her up tomorrow. I have two codes now 0171 and 0174. Jb4 doesn’t provide a description but I Googled it and found Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1 and 2.Keep adding 93 to it after each decently long drive. Maybe every 50 miles so it breaks up the percentage of ethanol. What is the code description?
Yea that’s the first thing I did after panicking. E85 gauge on JB4 is now showing 35 after filling half tank of 93. I would think the codes will be going away soon since 35 is around where it’s at when I run 4 gal of e85. Fingers crossed? The fuel system cant keep up, so the Jb4 will keep going into limp mode with a lean code. You should probably put the jb4 back on map 0 also. With less commanded boost and power, the fuel system may actually keep up.
Update: check engine light is off but jb4 is still showing the two codesYea that’s the first thing I did after panicking. E85 gauge on JB4 is now showing 35 after filling half tank of 93. Have you had any issues long term with your fuel lines running E30 mixture?I run jb4 map 5 for my dd. 5 gallons e85 and the rest 91octane. When I first did it I noticed the power difference after driving so many miles. If since then I never went back to just 91.
I know Burger came out with their CPI kit add on to the Flex Fuel kit but they said that still doesn’t allow for running full e85, only a higher mixer. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I read the jb4 is developing a flex sensor add-on. Not sure it is available yet, but I suspect it is meant to solve this type of problem.
just put 5.5 of e85 and the rest 91 full tank and wow way better in map3I recently gave E85 a try and added only 2.6 gallons of it and noticed a little bit of a difference. To get true E30 mix I would need to add close to 5 gallons of E85. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this?

I easily run E30 on map 4, runs great. Best time so far is 12.05 in 1/4 mileI agree. I run 4-5 gal e85 with 93 oct on map 3. It’s amazing
