Well i've been watching cars.com quite a bit and they exploded in stinger inventory this weekend, they are going to have to get a little better with these lease deals are the things are going to sit on the lots

I personally wouldn't spend my money on a datsun. But if you force me to buy one I'll take a GTR.

As a car enthusiast - I find this comment troubling. You are making yourself seem like a Stinger fanboy, no offensive. You are insulting Nissan by calling it a Datsun claiming you would never spend money on it. Yet - you would spend money on a KIA - which by brand standards Nissan is better than KIA? Besides - we are talking about the Infiniti Q here which finally is branded as an Infiniti and not a Nissan Skyline in other markets now. Just pointing out the irony of your post.

I'm also posting here to give my 2cent. As an Audi owner - I recently test-drove the Infiniti Q50 RS and KIA Stinger GT. My cousin wanted my opinions on these cars as hes attempting to buy something within the 50K range w/ performance.

Here's my honest take away as an Audi owner:
Exterior design: Subjective at best. I'll give it to the Q50 Red Sport. The design on the Q50 Red Sport is more refined and well-laid out. Its been also recognized as the best design sports sedan in its class. Topping even Audi and Mercedes Benz.
Interior design: Infiniti Q50 Red Sport. The interior of the Infiniti definitely has more softer touch material and less cheaper feeling material compared to that of the KIA. The Infiniti Q50 RS has more snitching along the dash to give it more premium feel. 2018 models have Bose Premium sound system with the aluminum casing - premium feel. Infiniti also has better seats. Overall - the KIA definitely shows its cheaper looking while the Infiniti at least feel premium.
Tech: Stinger GT takes it. Being that its a newer car - its loaded with the hottest new tech. However - its main draw back within its tech is the infotainment screen/system. That system is a joke considering its a 50K car. The screen is too small and it looks like they took that crap off a Hyundai Sonata.
KIA Stinger owners railing against Infiniti's infotainment system should stop. The KIA Stinger system isn't better - if anything its worst.
Yes. The Infiniti Q50 system is dated considering it come out in 2014. Agreed. But don't act like the KIA Stinger system is better. The KIA System navigation system feels like it came out in 2006. At the very least - the Infiniti Q50 system still gives you a premium feel.
Again - still though - Stinger takes it in Tech.
Handling: Depends - KIA Stinger takes it if the Infiniti Red Sport has DSA. If the Infiniti Red Sport doesn't have DSA - the Infiniti takes it.
Raw power: Infiniti Q50 - no question.
Mod potential: Infiniti Q50 - no question.
Price: Infiniti - they give aggressive deals on these. When I was just testing one out - I was offered a Infiniti Q50 RS stickered at 61K for 49K.

Overall (What's my take?): The Stinger GT is a great car. I like it. But I just don't think its better than the Infiniti Q50 RS (convince other wise - if I missed something on my test drives). I would personally buy the Infiniti Q50 RS.
Note: This KIA Stinger hype remains me of when the Hyundai Genesis crowd was railing against the G Coupe. About how the Genesis Coupe is going to destroy the G Coupe. Reviews said the same thing as well.
At the end of the day? That didn't happen and Genesis Coupe value are dirt on Autotrader. I predict this will happen for the KIA Stinger. There isn't enough brand niche for it to survive against the Q.

I have both cars (the last G prior to the rebadge which is the same car as the Q until the turbo came out) and i can say objectively that your comments must’ve came from reading. Lol

I didn't "ride" in both. I drove both for my cousin because he wanted an opinion. I also went on this forum to get more of an opinion on the Stinger. At that time - I decided to leave a comment on my opinions alone.

The VR engine is much better than the old VQ. Its highly underrated. The RS is pushing over 400 BHP.

I don't understand your last statement. Life is too short to buy an Infiniti so you buy a KIA? Is that what you are implying? I'm sorry - life is too short comment applies to probably an Audi R8 or a Lambo.

I'm not sure I understand. I'm called sensitive when I didn't do anything but post a comment regarding my experiences with both vehicles (Stinger/Q50 RS)

I think irony of this all is. The KIA Stinger crowd is a sensitive bunch. Evidence? Well: I post opinions of the Q50 RS and Stinger and everyone starts to bash and insult. IE: Call me a troll. But yeah, I guess I'm sensitive?

Welllll...you came to a Stinger forum and posted your opinion as fact, many times. If I did that in a Nissan or Infiniti forum but for the Stinger, I'd get burned, too!

My comments were focused on how you “drove” both and made such definitive comments. And if you’re whole thing about who’s engine is the best based on hp, then I guess those big v8 hellcats and demons are the better design bc they have gobs of hp. Lol
