*BEWARE* IMPORT SHARK *BEWARE*
Hey all,
Dont waste your time or money with IMPORT SHARK.
Poor service, poor communication, rude and poor products.
Bought carbon side skirts and carbon rear diffuser.
Side skirts arrived damaged. (pics below)
Rear diffuser doesnt fit. Took to a body shop and they couldnt get it to fit. (pictures show after the body shop had a go at modifying and fitting)
VERY POOR communication from import shark.
Asking questions after paying all of a sudden took nearly a week to reply.
Rude replies to. Have kept copies
No offer of any compensation or exchange, nothing. just that it must be my fault it doesnt fit. and that it was the posts fault for the damaged. packing wasnt up to scratch either. especially compared to stuff i bought from K8 or G4werx.
Just a word of warning, plenty of others out there to spend your hard earned on. Live and learn but dont make the same mistake as me!

Did you pay by credit card? If so you can box it all up and send it back (with tracking ) and do a charge back on your card (check with the card company first as to what they need for the charge back first to cover ypur bases)

regardless, they are the ones that sold the parts to him and are liable for any damage in transit, bad fitment etc.

I’d just keep the part during the chargeback process. If the CC company doesn’t rule in your favor you’re at the mercy of Import Shark again.

I went through something similar with a fiberglass wide body shipment. Took months to resolve and when I won I kept the pieces because no one wanted to pay for return shipping for damaged parts, especially me.

I think it's wise for people on this forum, particularly those new to Stingers to check out the vendor review section prior to making purchases. That will save quite a few folks some time, money, and heartache.

In the case of Import Shark a simple Google search will tell you all you need to know about the company.

I get your point about Import Shark, but no i'ts not regardless. The damage came from the manufacturer who shipped it, that's why I want to know who manufactured it because they either shipped damaged parts, or didn't wrap them well.

Unfortunately you're not the first person on this forum to have a bad experience with this particular company. They're not very professional, even going so far as attacking customers in this very forum. I echo @Kamauxx, check around the forum before ordering anything. I've had nothing but great experiences with the purchasing from @Kia Stinger and @K8 Stinger Store.
