• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Stingers on the Dragon 2020

We are going to postpone this trip until the fall or next spring... Hopefully everyone makes it thru ok!
Count me in if this fall or next spring remains an option. Otherwise new to the forum but try to keep tabs when I can. Thanks

For sure! Just waiting to see how this whole pandemic thing plays out. I was up there a month ago and everything was opening up again. Hopefully we can get something good for the spring. We also have a Facebook page: stingers on the dragon 2020 if you want to join

Im not on FB but wife is. I'll check it out. Thanks. Indeed all seems to be opening up. Sports/concerts and gatherings not so much. But all of this came to mind when a group locally pulled together a classic car meet. Nothing fancy but it was cool just to see people finding a way to have fun and get out of their houses

I assume of you who did this run have the 6 cyl model. How does the 4 cyl/gt-line fare on such roads?

Considering the 2.5T gt-line (2022) for practicality, but do like to have fun on some windy country backroads every now and then.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Not a 4 cylinder owner but having a i6 e39 and a V8 E39 I can tell you in the Twisties the i6 is far more tossable and fun since it has 200 less lbs up front in the nose. And especially with the new 2.5 gtline, you won't feel for lack of power as much as the 2.0s did . All things being equal , same tires etc , the 2.5gt line could very well be faster in the very technical bits where there aren't long straight areas as much.

I think first order of business might be replacing the trash tires that come with it - Potenza RE97AS-02. So far i've been getting away with michelin ps a/s 3+ (don't drive much when its snowing). Great all around tire.

For the urban environment stock tires will be fine, but they're no performance tire in any.
