Charlie is having more fun than usual in the 2.5T.

0-60 - 6.2s

Over 25 mpg - city
Over 36 mpg -hwy

Man, pair this with a 48V mild hybrid system and this is exactly what the European market needs to increase sales (in addition to going full electric), but guess that Kia decided that it didn't warrant the investment.

Charlie is overly existed about the 2.5t, can’t wait to see him review the 3.3t. The 2.5t is a welcome improvement over the 2.0t which will help selling Stingers over the G70 that will keep the 2.0t even in the refresh.

what is strange is the Stinger 2.5t seems slower than the G80 2.5t tested by C&D and Motortrend...

Are you comparing to Charlie's testing on cold asphalt pavement, vs. Motortrend and C&D's tests on warm concrete?

I was comparing Charlie’s 6.2s with an 2.5t AWD Stinger that should not be affected too much by traction vs a quite heavier G80 that succeed the same sprint in 5.7s. Yes not same condition but most video I have seems were commenting the Stinger 2.5t to be slow for 300hp. Not sure why so far the G80 seems to do better with same engine. We will learn more about the new Stinger performance when those will ne more accurately tested.

I might be willing to consider the 2.5t Stinger, especially if I could get all the bells and whistles in the GT2 trim. The K5 GT comes out this month so we should get a better picture of the engine. I don't understand why AWD isn't available on the K5 GT or EX trims. That's a deal breaker for me.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yes, it will be interesting to see what equipment is available for the U.S. version and how much cheaper it is than the 3.3t. The wheels are growing on me, though I still like the current ones better. KIA, please make more Stingers without black seats!

agreed. I really want the blind spot camera, all around view, and HUD. So right now GT2 is only option. I would consider a 2.5t with those features. Hopefully they will consider it.
