Alberta Stingers Check In

Is anyone in the Edmonton area or thereabouts looking for intakes? I have my DIY setup from my Stinger still for sale. I have them on Kijiji for $140 but will sell for cheaper to the forum. If you bring the car by I'll install them for you too. 2x Spectre 90 degree elbows, 2x AEM Dry-Flo cone filters (closed top, not inverted), 2x DIY heat shields made from galvanized steel, painted gloss black. Let me know if interested, they're taking up space in the garage lol. I made these specifically to use the bottom half the airbox and to re-use the factory clips that holds the top of the airboxes down, makes for a super easy install to swap to stock for the dealer visits, plus no lower box clips dangling about.

Just wanted to post a follow up on my car after two weeks. The dealer Sherwood KIA has seriously sucked the enjoyment out of owning this car. They missed installing the 3M on the bumper so the car was two days late. Then I noticed paint damage when I picked it up which they tried to half ass fix with a paint pen. Then it took multiple phone calls and emails and finally a face to face visit to get the satellite radio subscription to start working. If I could return it for a refund I would and then go buy a Toyota or a Honda. I've never even been treated this bad by a Ford dealer.
 
Sounds like they won't be seeing you again... I'm sure you can find a better dealer in YEG

I wouldn't call Go Kia South a ton better. They always gave me a loaner, but I too had issues with the 3M install (they installed it over dirty spots, fixed it but that left waves in the stone guard). I also had paint damage on the driver side side skirt near the back, they also did a terrible job touching up with paint pen. I wouldn't recommend them either.

I also heard that the West dealer isn't good either, maybe the North then? lol.

I'm surprised. I've bought 2 Kias there, and referred 2 others. We've always had great service, I even had my Stinger there with all the mods installed and the sales manager came and took pictures of it.

Someone really dropped the ball there.

In that case it is probably worth a polite phone call to the GM or owner and see what happens

Excellent! I love my 2020 Thunder Grey and you will too.

On the one hand, I wish Kia would sell more Stingers. On the other hand, the rarity of them on the road are head turners. I find myself looking at every Stinger that I happen to come across on the road.
 
I've been trying to join the fb group, have been pending for just over 2 weeks.
 
I saw this white Stinger outside of tropika today.
