I don’t know why but I am so disappointed.. Have I been naïve? As I was surprised to call UVO service and find out that the Kia stinger GT2 and or every other model stinger is not compatible with the Service. It doesn’t offer any of the convenience that the service provides!! When I called the customer service number to see if there was something wrong with my vehicles connection they explain that because the stinger is not as popular as all the other models. They did not link it into the system!! The main reason why I was interested in the service was to be able to remote start my vehicle from the app.. Is it me or does this bother anyone else that has purchased a stinger??

That’s correct UVO is useless with the Stinger. My biggest disappointment as well. I called them as well. American stingers are not equipped with a modem.

Yes this is incredible I cannot believe it. I explain to the representative “so your flag ship car is not equipped with your latest technology” She just simply laughed and said you are so right. Like everything else you would need consumers to call and complain..

Yeah Raceway Kia is a joke. Just don’t know what I am going to do for service. Do you use them for service? I purchased almost 2.5 hours away In Harrisburg, PA. Once things open up I can combine my service with business trips. Bridgewater emailed me and congratulated me on my purchase and said they would welcome me for service or warranty issues.

Have to give credit to Signature Detailing in Hillsborough once more.
I emailed Greg last night to see if he had a PPF file for my new carbon lower grill. He replied yes and told me to bring the car in this morning. He installed it while I caught up with the guys and most surprising to me he refused any compensation.

This is the second time after getting the initial PPF install that he has charged me nothing. Last visit I left the car overnight and came back to a complimentary detailed car.

You don’t find many businesses that appreciate their customers like this anymore. Don’t hesitate to use these guys if you’re thinking of doing PPF or any kind of detailing work.

Awesome!!! I tried to do the install today and it was a complete failure. Much respect to the ppf installers!! Way harder than I thought it would be. Well at least my front end got a 2 step correction. Haha

Oh no. Was it sticking too much before you could stretch it? I was watching the job today. He had three different fluids he used for different situations, some to lube, some to stick, I assume the third was simply water.

Yeah I had the stick solution as well as the slip solution it’s was just way harder than I thought to stretch and line up and get it to lay flat without air bubbles and lift lines etc so I quit.

I live in Hillsborough and have never heard of him, but just got back into the “car scene”. I’m all over NJ for real estate, so if anyone is ever up for a drive...

Hey Greg, I am in neighboring Manalapan. Where did you get your car? Any pricing breakdown? Central NJ dealers are being pigs on the Stingers. Did you do the lease buyout?

Sorry way late on this, when I got a new phone I lost my login lol.

I bought mine at Sansone Jr. in Oct 2019; 1% under invoice, 0% financing through Kia + the manufacturer incentives made more sense than the lease buyout at the time.

I've seen a few other Stingers over the last few months... I see another white one around pretty often, and one with a pink/purple wrap.
