So i have the shudder when breaking and in going to get the rotors fixed from dealership but then I want to change the pads out so I don’t have this problem again. Do I do that at Kia or should I get some aftermarket and have someone install them? If so then what kind?
"Squeaking" isn't pulsating/shuddering. The Stinger Manual gives the driver a heads up that "Brembo high performance" brakes commonly make noises, like "scritch" or "RRRRR sound". So, taking your car in to complain about noisy brakes isn't going to get you any joy. In fact, drivers will usually say, "Please, give me noisy brakes that WORK, and not these shuddery pieces of crap OE pads." Dusty, noisy brakes are "all the rage" in Europe. But US drivers want clean, quiet brakes that don't work. Hah.
Save yourself money and install the new brake pads yourself. Brembo brakes are some of the easiest ones to change. Watch a YouTube video. It’s literally punching two pins out, pulling out the old pads, sliding in the new pads, and then replacing the pins. Will take you longer to get the wheel off...

Brembo Brake (if equipped) It is normal for vehicles equipped
with high-performance brakes
(Large-diameter Brembo brakes for
enhanced braking performance) to
generate braking noises.
Also, Circular patterns caused by
disc surface friction may occur.
These patterns are normal and do not affect braking performance.
I’m buying new front pads soon because I’m fed up with my stock pads. After some late night shenanigans recently they were making a rattling/grinding noise up front...
My dealer didn’t really offer any help last time I brought it up other than replacing rotors/pads (on my dime) (I was at 17k miles, now at 22k).
The most recommended front pads I’ve read about are the girodisc magic pads, Hawk hps 5.0 and EBC red stuff. I’m going to order the Hawks for the front only and see if it makes a difference. I’ll do drilled/slotted rotors and rear pads eventually..

While yes, changing pads yourself is easy, the whole point of doing it at the dealer is so that you mate the new pads to the freshly machined rotors.
On the plus side, when I did mine, the dealer didn't charge me for the replacement; the down side is they dropped the caliper against the rotor and chipped the powder coating (noticed about 3 weeks later).
I went with the StopTech pads and at first there was no sound but now there's a quick chirp here and again upon first applying the brakes.
Thanks guys for all the replies. Only reason why I mentioned the noise is because I had a 2014 Kia Optima turbo addition and NEVER had any issues with breaks. Matter of fact. I never had to do work on them. Any suggestions on after market pads or rotors?
