Has your Stinger ever been confused for another car brand???????

Jags are ugly. IMHO

Nasscar, Two audible laughs from me today based on your posts! I don't even know if you are trying to be funny.

I pulled up outside a friend's house and when he answered the door he said wow, did I just buy an audi or is it a BMW. It looks great. He did not belive me when I said Kia.

Blingen, Sounds about right. I think I will say I am offended next time someone has confused my car with another.

Jaguar, Maserati or "is it one of those new electric cars?" Rebadged it drives them crazy. Told this story here before my dentist receponist came out to the carpark to ponder my vehicle had her going it was a Maserati she searched high and low for validation. My extra marital affair was almost launched except a Kia service badge was spied on the windscreen. The anger and rage bestowed on me was most unnecessary, crest fallen i skulled off.

Ozstung, if you launched an extra marital affair, no way you could afford "your" Maserati. I am rebadging this week. Maybe, I will tell them I built a custom car inspired by Kia.

Given away by a little service sticker. So so close Ozzie.

Heard a young kid with a group of friends call out "Look a Lamborghini!" as I drove out of McDonald's LOL

I haven’t heard any of those comparisons yet but I have heard “Oh it’s a KIA” on several occasions.

Maserati several times and Mercedes once.

Many many times ive been told "no thats not a kia"
Maserati is not one of them though. The front end is super obviously different....
Had some people think i was a 4 series bemmer
Bassicly people are silly

Seriously, It seems the recurring theme in the posts is that our Stingers are most commonly confused with a Jag and Maserati. Yet, our cars are not on the side of the road waiting for a tow.

Before I had my Stinger I drove an Optima. The MP on guard duty where I was stationed would confuse my Optima for a Stinger...strange.

The only confused statements I ever heard about the Stinger was "Maserati." The one thing I never heard my Stinger referred to is "Kia."

Interestingly, the lines/proportions resemble a shorter B9 S5 more than any other car I can think of, yet it was never confused for one.

I think part of the Stinger's allure is that everyone is confused by it. With the rebadging option (if you are into that), you can really confuse others.
