Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you attempt the secondaries yourself?

It's a clearance thing mostly; if you're really comfortable under a vehicle go for it but IMO it's worth an hour of labor or less for a shop to do them.

It's the part of the secondary that connects to the primary that will be difficult. It's pretty far up there and my exhaust had rust on some of the bolts. If you're in the rust belt that's another thing to think about.

Did the secondary and the cat back install by myself in the middle of a California heat wave. Why? Guess I like to suffer or something... Also Quicksilver rant: WHY NOT INCLUDE HARDWARE WITH THE PIPES?? had to take 2 trips to the auto store and even then it wasn't perfect. Had to reuse the gaskets and the bolts I got where a bit short. But overall I am pretty happy with the QS mids and Borla combo. It did help that I had an entire shop to myself, thanks Yev

Good to hear that the AWD guys can get the mids now but at the current price it's a hard sell. Also anything that's quieter than a Borla + mids combo is the wrong exhaust for the stinger. Guess it's better than stock but I didn't get a stinger just to sound like a v6 Camry.

Isn't the Borla basically the loudest exhaust available to us short of a muffler delete? I could be wrong but as far as I know, that's the case.

Exhaust sound is both subjective (everyone has a different opinion of what sounds good) and practical (not all of us want a super loud car). I'm happy that you're happy with your setup. Maybe "anything quieter than Borla + mids" is the wrong exhaust for you but try not to make such sweeping proclamations to the rest of the community, lol.

Borla is actually quieter than I would like. Maybe I am just around super loud cars but no way is mine "super loud" when my neighbor has a camed stang. Borla has a bit of drone but nothing crazy. Also 100% worth it for the gurgles alone. Internal combustion cars should sound like they have internal combustion, not like Teslas. I guess some people want "sleeper" stingers, but that's not me. Close your eyes and a stock singer sounds like a v6 Camry.

I mean, there's a reason I'm here posting about exhausts and waiting for mine to get built I'm just saying there's a ton of different preferences and they may not line up with yours, and that's okay.

That reminds me, there's a mustang in my town that I can hear for three or four blocks when he's got the valves open. I don't need that, and I'm sure my neighbors don't want that either. I'm neither dreaming of, nor expecting, a V6tt that sounds like a v8.

Sounds similar to the current offering. Is this a review of the super sport or the original? And the secondaries don't give 40 ft/lb of torque!

Dunno. Most comments were just asking for sound clips but I don't think they had any.

Secondaries, aka mids aka primary cat deletes are sperate.

Not going to lie, after some time I am starting to like this Borla and QS combo more and more.... Burbles and other fun noises. Now if it burbled more than it hissed.... Like tricky but man when you get it just right.... Will try and upload a YouTube video

Sounded nice on start up, see what you mean with the Hhhhhhsss though.

Yep, don’t really need tips. Does leave gaps in the outlet area, but easily remedied.
