Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I’m glad you found us.Hi! I recently bought a 2020 G2 Stinger. It sure is a lot of fun!
The last couple of years I’ve driven what I call a “hand me down”. When my husband bought a truck, I began driving his Kia Soul. Kind of a fun story behind getting the Stinger... I had been viewing sports cars online (BMW, Mustang, Camero, etc..) back in January. Then one day I saw a really nice car in a parking lot but it was completely de-badged. I took some pictures and my husband researched online to find that it was a Stinger! I couldn’t believe it when he said it was a Kia. We thought for sure it would be some kind of $70k+ Porsche or something . I kept shopping around because having the Kia Soul somewhat turned me off from getting another Kia. Yet I couldn’t stop thinking about the look of the Stinger. So here we are with a Stinger and I absolutely love it! I wanted it just like the one I saw so I’ve de-badged the rear and to avoid body shop costs for now, I ordered the Stinger badge to replace the badge on the front. It’s much sexier than a KIA emblem for sure. Eventually I may remove that and have it filled and painted. I like the idea of some extra led lighting. Wondering if anyone has added led accent colors inside their main headlight area. The claw covers are on my wish list.Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. You are right about the Soul! I liked how it buzzed around town quick (it had a sport mode too) and had plenty of room, but I really struggled with hip, neck, and back pain when driving it. The seat being more upright while it moved so sharp was the challenge for me. And I’m strong in all those areas too - being a personal trainer and movement specialist, I worked hard at balancing the muscles needed for it but still struggled. Once I quit driving it, the issues went away.Awesome choice, definitely will destroy many of the regular mustangs, Camaros out there except for the ZL1 or Gt350 ones, definitely a refined car with Korean design and German engineering in its DNA, you will love it like many of us, congrats again! Just be careful when you debadge there are any horror stories out there people f*cking their paints. On a side not why you were turned off by having the Soul its one of the most sold vehicles in the history of Kia millions sold in the USA its gotta be good otherwise even though its affordable people won't have bought tens of thousands of it.
Hi! It is Panthera Metal.Howdy. Entertaining story! Is your Stinger Black or Panthera Metal? Not sure from the one pic. But I am guessing Black.
See what I mean? That color is so subtle. The lighting changes everything.Hi! It is Panthera Metal.
Yes, I love the mystery behind no badges. Makes a stand out car stand out even more.Congrats! I just let my SIL (also Angie) drive the Stinger. Coming from driving school buses and a 16 y/o Rav4, she was impressed. That color was my 2nd choice! Also updated my front badge to keep it (more) mysterious... Enjoy!!
