3.3TT Mishimoto's Stinger GT Intercooler Kit R&D Thread

@Mishimoto I want to order 2 sets but each time I choose your pre-sale link, I am redirected to your EU website where this set is not available. I would like to purchase them in the USA and have them shipped to Poland. Any advise how to proceed?

Hope the 3 inch cold pipe fits with the Jonny Tig intake. The UP 3 inch pipe is tight!

yeah guess i'll find out in september when this arrives.
Hopefully we have enough JT intakes out there they will mod us a cold pipe if it doesn't fit!

Nick I live in North Vancouver, BC, Canada what is my best route to buy this please. You mentioned a CDN distribution network. Thx.

A bit too rich for my blood at this point, when I'm driving like 200 miles / month and can't do any track events.. And if/when it goes back to $1600+, I don't expect there will be 2x improvement over kits half the price..

Looks like a very high quality and complete kit.

Maybe this has been answered before but why would you need to replace any of the stock piping? As far as I can tell, the stock plumbing is just about the best I have seen on any factory turbo car. And I have owned several turbocharged cars. Saturn Sky Redline, BMW 335, Buick Regal GS, Ford Focus ST: they all have intercooler pipes that leave a lot to be desired.

Are there any plans to sell just the intercooler and use the stock plumbing? I would definitely buy that.

You can order direct from their website. It's quoting me $166 shipping via UPS, who knows what the tax rape would be, thinking $300ish. 99% sure I don't want to spend near 2K on this. I'm hoping there's a better CDN option available.

First to install with JT intakes please share. The UP 3 inch cold pipe has 1/2 inch tops clearance.
I offered my car up for some 23 PSI, 11.0 quarter mile testing but they didn't take me up on it.

I expected to see a lot more posts. Either crickets due to buying and leaving the discussion until they receive it or that price isn’t too attractive. It is higher than I was hoping but the damn Wagner FMIC is a lot and you get a lot less with it.

I already ordered and i know some others that have that didnt post.

What made you want to change to this FMIC over what you had? You already have the fastest Stinger. What more could this kit do for your car?

Hey Guys!

Some of you already beat me to the punch while I was making some final adjustments, but it's officially official, the presale is here!

2018+ Kia Stinger GT 3.3T Performance Intercooler

Make sure that you get in on the sale ASAP! There's no limit on the presale slots, but this pricing will only be around for a limited time!

Feel free to shoot over any questions that you might have!

When can we expect delivery?

Ordered mine earlier today in black. Can't wait! Though it looks like it'll be a beast to install. That said, Mishimoto's install guides are phenomenal. Most install guides are only text or they skip over important things in the video. I'm amazed at how thorough Mishimoto is with their guide.

And I'm also curious about the JT fitment with this intercooler. I only have DIY intakes for now, but I do want to get the JTs once/if they do another group buy at a good discount. I'll hold off on the JTs until you guys have a chance to test this out.

I’m wondering what is the performance benefit with the Aluminium merge pipe since the ‘17 and ‘18 models have an aluminum merge pipe already. Or has this already been mentioned? I’m too lazy to read through 33 pages
