Randall (AV8R) and I went back and forth and figured it would be best if we just stuck with the two designs at least some people seemed to like. The rest only had, at most, one person like it... So... We figured we'd get a choice out of these two and then build on that. Take the general idea and then make something cooler out of it. Perhaps even use the final design as wheel caps or a steering wheel badge...

However, I would be lying through my teeth if I didn't say I really like the image @AndyGT posted from my favorite game growing up. :p I mean, that's pretty obviously a Stinger - and a mean-looking one at that...

Sorry - looks more like an X-Ray of a rattlesnake with a squashed head.

Isn't the one with a circle around it from the Green Hornet?

Yep, but you are the one telling people what the "rules of the game" are. And I figured if I posted it here Sal would see it. ;)
Yes but I’m only relaying the info. Sal should maybe have stated the rules, I messaged him so let’s see. Not trying to be bossy it’s just that at some point you have to stop taking ideas else you will have too many choices to list and vote on. Please be patient. I’m butting out from now on and you guys can sort it out :p

Note, in Australia Mitsubishi had a car called the Scorpion back in the late 70s . They never used a logo. I can see where you guys are coming from but if you want my honest opinion it looks cheap and tacky sorry AndyGT. Put it up and we can vote Sal.

I 100% agree. I would never put any of them on my car. I like the stinger wording. The reason why I came up with this proposal was just because I think that IF you want to illustrate the „Stinger“ you should not go with a hornet.

Hornets do have stings you know.....just like bees and scorpions do and wasps ..

Yes but the logo should not focus on the insect. We are not driving a Kia Hornet.

Ah.. but we also aren’t driving a stinger Kia scorpion either!:D

Well, maybe that‘s why Kia decided to not illustrate the Stinger in any kind of logo. They preferred the lettering „Stinger“, which imho was a wise decision.

One way to defuse the argument and I agree totally. Maybe better to leave well enough alone as they say :D . Loved the debate tho! Wonder if Lamborghini had the same issue with the bull? Lol

Okay, so there are a few discussions going around where these two images have popped up. Some people like them; some people don't. What I'd like to know is - out of these two - which one do you like the most?

What I plan on doing is taking whichever version most people prefer - and creating something new but similar. Perhaps even a combination of the two. I want your input.

The circle one looks like a bee that's blowing its nose. The one without a circle would really need to be done right so as to notice the stripes on the bottom are the body of the bee, otherwise at first glance it looks like the body is on the left and it just has super beefy arm/wings underneath that it wants to punch you with. Do/have any other cars use a bee/wasp as a symbol aside from the Super Bee dodge trims? I feel like any sort of scorpion would be associated with Abarth's Fiats.

If you google stinger logo you will see the majority are using a hornet or bee . I think there was about two designs that used a scorpion.

OK . I'm breaking your rules already I like the left one WITHOUT the circle , the right one looks more birdlike to me .sorry !
Concur.

I vote for the one without the circle. Just looks like something done on a higher level design. How about a triangulated upside down curve border?

J.i.c. the one without the circle from the images provide.
