We're starting on product R&D for a fog bezel insert for the front bumper to add some more function to the front bumper vents. They can be made so that air still passes through even if fogs are there. If this were a product that you'd be interested in, would you prefer dual fogs on each side or single fogs? Any other feedback/questions? Thanks in advance!

...I thought those particular vents were practical, and not decorative like the ones on the hood (bonnet)? Am I mistaken...?

They are functional. I'm sure the R and D will maintain functionality while adding the light fixtures.

You’re not mistaken. They are 100% functional.

Importshark, this would completely mess with the functionality of the vents. Plus, IMO, those fog lights make the car look more ordinary. The headlights on this car are absolutely amazing. You don’t need more lights.

Well they definitely aren't brake vents since the air flows right into the backside of the wheel well liner. Either way, we can still make fog bezels to be vented if needed. That's just a minor design element. All I'm trying to determine at this point is how many fogs to put in each. It wouldn't make much of a price difference if there's one foglight or two per side, so I'd primarily base this decision on demand for the visuals/looks.

I perfer the single over the double, but don't really like either of them. I'd much prefer them to be lower down on the fascia. Maybe here?

I agree don't put it in our functional vents.
That section Chris mentioned may work.
Also a different type of fog lighlt like the latest Optima with 3 LEDs.

Those vents were never meant too cool the brakes. They are there to create a curtain of high speed wind across the tire. Prevents eddies and tumbling air from forming in wheel arches. This improves aerodynamics and high speed stability.

I only had the car for a short while with very little chance to view that area--and that was at night in the rain too. From what I saw, it looked closed. Will check it out fully on Tuesday most likely as the car went right to a wheel/tire shop for measurements to be taken today. Either way, if fogs are put there, it can still be made vented.

1000000% agree. I’ve been keeping my eye out for something like this. But they’d have to match the width and color of the factory DRL for me to even consider it.
