Vote on a unique Stinger logo/badge/emblem

Okay, so there are a few discussions going around where these two images have popped up. Some people like them; some people don't. What I'd like to know is - out of these two - which one do you like the most?

What I plan on doing is taking whichever version most people prefer - and creating something new but similar. Perhaps even a combination of the two. I want your input.

What will be the purpose of that logo? Do you want to produce it as a badge?

I like the below option best, would be interesting to see what it looks like with an oval around it? Not a fan of the circle. Maybe outline the lower body or fill it in without the stripes to make it less busy, with only the hollow eye? Would a solid design be more recognizable for what it's supposed to be? When I first looked at this wasn't sure what it was, because the right side looks like a jaw opening to me. It's growing on me. Thank you for developing this - looking forward to how this turns out.

The car is called a Stinger, thats what should be emphasized and be easily recognizable from the logo.

The one with the circle around it is too "busy" and isn't easily recognizable. The stinger portion is part of the body. It just looks like a flying insect.

The one without the circle is easily recognizable at first glance and looks like its "stinging something" or at least has the stinger prominent in the logo.

EDIT: For me I wouldn't run either as a replacement for the KIA or Stinger badges but as a Forum Logo, shirt design or vinyl I think it would be cool.

Okay, firstly we can’t put every suggestion up as we would be here forever. The responses we have had back for the last few weeks discussing this has given us the final 2 which we would like your vote. Please don’t offer alternatives in this thread.
The issue is that we can’t sell items with these logos due copyright so we are looking at small changes to design so we can. All monies go back into the forum to help run it.

The logo will be unique to the forum and can be used in most accessories tshirt stickers key ring etc. the possibilities are endless.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that a vote for neither provides no help in which of the two people like better. Whatever it is he is trying to create here (emblem/decal/logo/whatever) would only be created for those who are interested in it. If you're not (I'm not so sure I'd be interested either) then that's fine, but it doesn't do any good for creating it for those who are.

I’m not interested in badging the car as a bee, wasp, or hornet. Those all exist with other domestic brands of cars. I feel more like a scorpion or maybe another creature with a stinger would be more creative. Just my .02 cents

No offence, but this seems dumb. If the object is to sell them eventually wouldn't you want to know what people actually would pay for? At least a 3rd option of I don't like either. One of the keys to sales is to know your market...
