Hi! I just recently had my roof wrapped but I’m not completely happy with it. I’ve asked two wrapping shops now in my city and they both said they can’t really do too much with the drip rails because of the rubber. What did you guys do to wrap the drip rails?

I had my strips wrapped BUT they could not do the 2 rubber gaskets , you can see that here top.webp

Some have painted their drip strips/rails. Including, I presume, the rubber along the edges.

I actually purchased a roll of black pin striping and tried to cover them but that turned into a frustrating experience , I dont even see them now

The rubber is painted in the OE body color. So, it seems that wrapping the strips and leaving the rubber edging is like having colored accents up there. It's not as if the rubber edging is unmatched goose grey something.

Hmm I might just do the same then. That’s not as noticeable as I thought it would be.
hell , a black sharpie would probably knock it out too !

Had my roof wrapped last weekend, including the drip rails. Is it perfect? No, but you really have to look close to see any issues. I am really pleased with how it turned out.
