I'm in JB4 MAP 5 with 5 gallons of E85 as Terry recommended. I just did some runs on a small street and according to a free GPS 0-60 app I'm running between 5-5.5 second 0-60's. This is for AWD. I thought with intake, muffler delete, tune and E30 you could get around flat 4s with AWD? This is with launch control and tried both manual mode and automatic in sport.

PS.. also tried map 3.

I will also say you JB4 guys were right. I think I was not doing enough E85. Most guys do 5-6 gallons I've been doing 3-4. The car pulls much harder in the mid-upper range with 5+ gallons.

This is one of those scenarios when having your location in your profile would be handy. Perhaps altitude is messing with you?

I'm in Orange County CA. Currently it's 69 degrees with 75% humidity. Elevation is fine. Does high humidity sap times?

91 octane pump or 93?
Are you using cheap gas? BP-Amoco, Shell, Exxon are good sources.
Are you using stock plugs, if not, what did you change to and what gap are you running? A lot of guys on the forum are running E85. I did as well, but switched to WMI when the ethanol levels became inconsistent, as well as supply. I saw the most improvement with WMI, densos gapped .022, and EWG adapters.

0-60 times depend on a multitude of situations. However, I would suggest getting a proper exhaust set up and install a primary downpipe that is made for racing situations. Something like our Ultimate Performance Downpipe Kit will give you huge benefits with your already existing mods and help get you to your goal quicker. Also, make sure you have good tires that are already warmed up.

91 from Chevron. Plugs are gapped. Don't remember the exact gapping, the guy who sold me JB4 put in the gapped plugs. I think .24 or .26. WMI made a big difference?

I think the biggest problem here is you're using a free app that is undoubtedly inaccurate.

It did seem to have a little lag. Without buying $150 dragy what's a good alternative? I looked for paid apps too

Stock AWD GT2 Stinger as tested by MotorWeek did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.

If you are on the JB4 map5, I have no doubt your car is faster than that.

Almost any free app is going to be inaccurate.

Have you looked at the 0-60 from your JB4 logs? Whenever I do an acceleration test I compare the times and it's close, usually within .1-.5 seconds of the Dragy.

I attached two examples below to show how close the times are; on one you see the jb4 said 4.32 vs. 4.24 on the Dragy, and the next run was 4.32 on Dragy and 4.35 on Jb4...

Get rid of the app and get a dragy.

Went in logs, don't see any 0-60... how do you activate the tracking, then view it? On mine, preview is the last thing you can click.

Update: Hmm that's interesting. One log randomly has 0-60 none of the others do. Says 4.6 s. Is there something that needs to be on for it to record them all?

Are these logs from your 0-60 runs? I'm pretty sure it should record it if you punch it from a dead stop (or use LC) and hold it a little past 60; each of my logs from 0 all have a 0-60 time.

Is it possible you let off early? Either way that 4.6 sounds more like it and you probably did even better in reality.

Yea. My goal is 3.9. if you're below 4 sec that seems really good for AWD and mods?

Have they?

I saw a good amount in various threads yes. Not sure exactly why. I mean is the brake snip purely a mod that lets you run higher RPM in launch mode? From my understanding the stock torque converter isn't so strong, hence the limitations?
