Anyone else having issues with the boost hose coming off on the hot side at the end of the hard pipe that's coming off of the merge pipe. I have blown mine off twice in a week when really getting on it. I have even upgraded all the clamps to t-bolt clamps after the first time it came off.

The "Like" is not about your problem, but rather to welcome you to the forum. And, no, sorry, haven't heard of this one before. Is your car stock?

The outside is stock lol. Jb4 , fuel-it, ewg wires, injen intakes, hks plugs, ark secondaries, mbrp stainless catback, burger fmic, and burger wmi kit.

Now you've gone and done something radical. "Help me [modders], you're my only hope.":P I wish you luck.

Any pics of the hot sided inlet where it's popping off? I know of at least one other member who's having the same problem. My assumption is that it's due to the lip at the end of the aluminum spacer being too small.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
At #7 is where its is coming apart. Right before the bend going to the inlet on the intercooler

Ooohhhh.... Okay. I gotcha. I've never actually seen anyone pop a coupling right there. Interesting. And even with the nicer bolt style clamps!

You've got me stumped.

Same here, I'm gonna pull the hard pipe that comes down off the merge pipe tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Sure would be nice to have the JT merge pipe that I ordered in March and can't even get an update on from them right now while I'm pulling things apart.... Just saying

Is it coming off at #6 or #7? It probably got loosened after you put in your FMIC.

That was my first thought so I replaced the clamp with a t-bolt style and as soon as I did a launch and hit heavy on the boost it came off again.

The JT merge pipe, nice as it is, uses that same hard line from the merge pipe to the intercooler - #8. The elbow (#6) is replaced if you're using their intercooler.
If anything, it'll be worse with the JT merge pipe. The stock pipe is hard mounted to the front of the engine. JT's doesn't have any mounting provisions, so it just hangs on the hoses. This will put more stress on that joint.
Seems your #8 pipe is damaged - pretty sure it has a lip - or the inside of #6 is all slicked up.

As far as the JT merge pipe I have opened a PayPal dispute seeing that I paid for it in March and he is ignoring all emails and messages. I don't even want the thing

It sounds like COVID really jacked up their operations. There's a whole bunch of us waiting on intake kits and it sounds like lack of competent welders and consumables is an issue...
