The Atlantica was going to have white/beige leather. Trust me if its the same Brown leather offered in our Rafa edition its going to be shocking . Brown and blue/purple not a good match.

The Atlantica at the NY autoshow had a brown interior but not the normal brown that you would expect. It really looked good. The Atlantica was going to have white/beige leather. I'm still baffled as the why they didn't offer the brown interior in the US as they did in Korea when the Stinger launched.
From my experience there really is no difference between brown and black interior, both are essentially dark colours that attract the light very well but the main difference is in the glass quality of the car. The black interior on a F11 BMW was absolutely unbearable because of poor glass material compared to the newer Stinger and its black interior.Same here. I'd like to get tan upholstery. Black interiors are great except that they get really hot in the summer if you can't tint your windows.

Doing this special edition stuff, I guess it lets them see if there is a demand for the exterior and interior color and they could add it to the next model year cars. They could have really done like BMW and Audi and do colors like Saddle, Mocha, Cognac, Charcoal, etc., give the Stinger a unique color palette than their other cars. Or at least the brown from the K900.
Just saw the interior color online, I would have preferred the wheel to stay black, the brown steering wheel would take some getting used to.
I saw the interior images online also. Not really what I had in mind. The shade of brown they chose to use is pretty gross and there is way too much of it. If it were just the seats and some of the lower trim it would be ok and more of a chocolate brown or a lighter camel brown. Not the baby poop brown they went with...

Totally agree, doesn't float my boat but would no doubt appeal to some.Haha. Yeah, I'm not down with that tone of brown either. Looks old man-ish...like it should be in a 90's Lincoln or Cadillac.

Absolutely, all our Kia's have had black interior and never been an issue, tinted windows and heated / cooled seat works a treat. Plus they are so practical with kids, dogs to add to the equation. From my experience there really is no difference between brown and black interior, both are essentially dark colours that attract the light very well but the main difference is in the glass quality of the car. The cooled seats on the Stinger help neglect most of the heat very quickly anyway, so I would say that for any leather interior having cooled seats is much more important than having a heat friendly color.
I was being very diplomatic but you said it !Resisted commenting but can't any more..
Reminds me of all the puke brown toyotas running around with TRD on the side - TURD brown. Yup!

Totally agree when you see it in real life, it’s looks even worse.Haha. Yeah, I'm not down with that tone of brown either. Looks old man-ish...like it should be in a 90's Lincoln or Cadillac.
