Only Vikings drink from open flagons. You need to think before you drink. Hah.Found out another thing i dislike in the stinger..
the freaking cup holder. those things on a spring is way to hard to push away putting in a cup or flask. today it caused an opened flask/bottle with wide neck to spill alot and half the passenger seat too.
Sorry, I have to disagree with you on that point. The circular design is superior to the old school flappy vents and it's so much easier and more accurate to position and direct the airflow. It would be nice if the air vents in the center were rectangular and not circular. The best smartphone holder I've used in a car is the magnetic type which clip onto the vent flaps, but the one I have slips off the round vents. I've been using a cup holder phone mount, but hate it as the thing always seems to be in the way.
No! Those circle vents are near the top of the list of things I love, such a great design.
This exists 2019 Kia Stinger Dashboard Mounts | ProClip USA and can fit a magnet. Scosche MagicMount Pro XL
I'll give that one a try. Thanks! No! Those circle vents are near the top of the list of things I love, such a great design.

You are correct as they do look much nicer for the interior design, it's just more difficult to attach my phone mount. I should have made myself more clear.
No worries. If you don't wirelessly charge your phone you should look into getting a magnetic car mount that you can attach to an empty spot beside the vent. I had one on my old Lancer and it was really handy and easy to use, plus you won't block an air vent. You are correct as they do look much nicer for the interior design, it's just more difficult to attach my phone mount. Sorry mate, Can't say I've experienced any of those audio issues you've mentioned. What year and model do you own? Maybe another American with a similar spec can weigh in since we Canadians have entirely different specs.Something needs to be addressed about the audio issues. Loss of audio after a phone call. Sometimes when you start car the audio doesn't work, no radio, CarPlay, bluetooth. Already had the audio component replaced. Worked for a day and issue returned. You have to turn off the car and turn it back on for the audio come back on. A radio is everything in a car no radio and it makes for a worthless car.
Is Kia aware of this? Any other issues in the community?
I haven't had any issues with the sound system. I use Android Auto so as long as Google doesn't break anything, its good.Something needs to be addressed about the audio issues. I have just one thing (ok, other than having to change drive mode each time I start the car): the volume levels. I listen to mostly Sirius/XM and, if I have other people in the car, then volume level 2 is too low and volume level 3 is too high. And having a conversation when parked even volume level 1 is too high. But then if I want to rock out I have to crank it to level 25 or higher. I think they have it set linear, not logarithmic. So going from level 1 to level 2 doubles the volume and level 2 to 3 is 50% greater. But volume 25-30 is barely different. Volumes should move 10% at a time. Not being able to fine tune volume at lower levels is really frustrating.
Note that it works better with terrestrial radio and, when playing from my phone, the volume is way too low. This seems like easy fixes.
1. Rattles and creaks especially from the sunroof (which they have "fixed" 3 times and each time I get it back it's worse) would have to be my top 4 lol.
5. The quality of the GPS map on the screen is horrendous. Looks like a kindergarten kid drew the maps.
Other little things are too insignificant mention.

While I agree on the built in nav maps looking like they're from 2009, I'm personally so rarely outside of Android Auto that I just don't care about built in nav ever.
When I am using GPS I use WAZE or Google Maps through Android Auto which is much nicer. But I don't always have the GPS on and when I don't those cheap kindergarten maps are visible and unsightly. While I agree on the built in nav maps looking like they're from 2009, I'm personally so rarely outside of Android Auto that I just don't care about built in nav ever.
That's good. I will ask the mechanic when I drop my car off for the fourth time to get them to try and fix my sunroof creaks.Canadian models recently got a map upgrade to v14 that changed the map UI/UX and added some more themes. It looks quite good now. I know the USA has it available as a purchase but not sure if Australia got it. V14.5 was suppose to be coming out this month but with V14 being delayed by 2 months, I'm expecting the same for V14.5
Now that you mention it, the driver side area where the wiper stops is fairly large compared to my other car.Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the corners and edges of the windshield where the wipers can't reach is larger than in other cars
