I became the owner of my dream car - a Stinger GTS in February. I've been lurking on here since then without formally saying hello!

I'm located in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I'm looking forward to learning more about these awesome machines!

I hope people get the meaning behind my username.

I was worried about driving around in the stock summer tires because it was still very cold and icy out so I switched to some all-seasons. I was impressed that I was able to fit them all in the back lol

That is impressive. It's nice the Stinger's a hatchback. A lot more interior space than it looks like from the outside.

Not sure where the rest of your comment went, but yeah the GTS has kind of a mix of features that places it between the GT and GT1 trims I guess. I could have gotten a Stinger for less (in terms of cost as well as ease of finding an AWD version) but I wanted the AWD GTS for it's LSD and then the cosmetics.

I was also somewhat led on by the 'D-AWD/Drift Mode' marketing but honestly I'm not sure if there is any difference between the GTS AWD system and other GT Trims

There is: when you engage Launch Control in the D-AWD, it sends 100% power to the rear if you "hoon" hard enough and it decides that you are worthy. So, those that "drive it like you stole it" will get 100% power to the rear wheels.

Next time I try to drift (I have made attempts) I'll make sure I yell 'HOON' real loud. See they need to put this stuff in the owners' manual lol .
