Nice. Are they tuning it for your specific mods or just a generic stage 2?Quick Update, Pressertech now has my ECU now and they will get back to me tomorrow on how things are going!yeah
I believe they are tuning for the already installed mod as they wanted the full list of the mods that were done before I sent itNice. Are they tuning it for your specific mods or just a generic stage 2?
What happened to this dude? This tune? 85,000 post about it shipping to pressertech and then poof. Disappeared.I believe they are tuning for the already installed mod as they wanted the full list of the mods that were done before I sent itI will know for sure when I talk to Classified Motorsports as they set it all up , it is tuned for 91 octane because crappy gas here in Canada
Well he got his tune but had gas quality problems. After that was solved he did a Dyno run and the results where terrible. Now I want to see a real Dyno run done with the right gear. The tune is not a scam, I have their tune. After my car is fixed I will get a good Dyno run in.What happened to this dude? This tune? 85,000 post about it shipping to pressertech and then poof. My thoughts exactly.I live very close to pressuretech but the last 2 posts and lack of any follow up scare me.And the last post is what scares me--got the tune and the OEM fuel pump failed. What happened--did KIA replace it--Did they find the ECU was messed with and nullify your warranty.Pressuretech has great reviews--but even then--I do not want my car constantly being in shops all the time. What happened to this dude? The 1/8 tank issue is an ecu setting not actual fuel starvation. Tork tune turns this off and I've run low 11 second quarter miles on 1/16th tank. The RC Chip was removed as it had to be run on 93 to 98 octane valuesMY Stinger runs well , but I did had some gas that wasn’t great , but the last tank of gas worked perfectly ok , However that being said , on a launch with just a 1/8 th of a tank of gas it looses its fuel I have found , as it pushes the gas to far back enough to reduce suction perhaps, I was advised to put a bit of additive In it to take out the moisture from the condensation after winter here ! It is working great right now
just a slight update using the Pressertech tune
THe gas quality here in BC Canada seems, to be perfectly honest Crappy compared to our US friend s
So the 91 Pressertech tune seems to be good for a light tune
I was told that the stage 93 stage 2 Pressertech tune will Closer to 4 sec then , what my Awd Stinger got which the best which was 4.65 yesterday with almost full tank and no additives added
THe stock Stinger GT RWD runs around 4.7 sec
My car was scaled and weighed in at 1960 kgs/4312 lbs , it is heavy but great DD car lol
Thanks TonkaBob, for the information on the setting , this is good to know indeedThe 1/8 tank issue is an ecu setting not actual fuel starvation. Tork tune turns this off and I've run low 11 second quarter miles on 1/16th tank.
Tork tune is light years behind others and can give you a mild 91 octane tune if you want it with much better results than this.
If I can get 50 to 70 HP for around a thousand bucks with no reliability issues--I am in.

the guy you mentioned found he had fuel issues. Once corrected he found the car was a bit better than prior to the tune. His dyno was not impressive and I believe he’s running a jb4 in conjunction with the tune currently.
Can't say that no one has posted dynos when there is a Dyno on the 2nd page of this thread. Visible results. I own that car now.Just get a JB4. It's well under $1k and has loads of posts (here, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc) documenting performance improvements.
I don't know what this Pressertech tune costs but there is essentially ZERO data to back up any claims made by the tuners. The people that have bought it for the Stinger mostly report things like "it feels so much faster" or "it's very reliable." Those are cool and all, but for some reason no one has shared legit dyno results or shown any 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 0-60, or 60-130 improvement with it. If you look at the various lists for top Stinger times posted throughout the forum you will notice Pressertech is missing from them all. They say it's because the tune is geared toward reliability not performance. I say it's because it only provides a couple dozen whp over stock.
The only person to post their performance results has shown little improvement over stock and worst performance when compared to a RaceChip piggyback.
Given all of the information shared in this thread and your desire for 50-70 up for under $1k I see no reason why you should give your money to Pressertech over any other tuner or even a JB4 or RaceChip.
Typo or confession? I'm guessing you meant to say Tork's tune is ahead of others, correct?
