Alberta Stingers Check In

20200423_081328.webp I'm planning on checking out the 780 opener if it does go ahead. Few things I'd like to get taken care of first with the car but all things considered its in a good spot.
Any suggestions on a garage to do my lower springs install? Picked up some eibach springs in the winter, seems like it'll be nice enough to put on soon.

The fronts are a pain in the ass to be fair. Rears are easy. I'd expect a fairly large labour time. Prolly 5ish hours. I did my own a few weeks ago. But I'm a tech at a dealer with tools and a lift so its a bit easier for me than most.
 
Any edmonton area guys changed the exhaust at all. Muffler delete, catback whatever??

I'm really trying to decide which route to go, and hearing it in person would make a world of difference.

Awesome. I'd love to hear it/your thoughts on it after you do get it on. That seems to be the consensus "best" catback. But how much of that is due to how much cheaper it is than the competition.

You are going to like it! I have the MBRP and Jun BL mid pipes and it sounds amazing under load. 1500-2500 rpm is ok, but not amazing. Hope you have a set of tips as well, mine droned like crazy inside the cab before I got proper tips.

I have MBRP + tips, sounds great except at WOT + high RPM it is all motor and very little exhaust sound. I think I'll get ARK DP this summer. BTW I still have akrapovic tips sized for stock exhaust (no cut) that are sitting in my garage doing nothing... up for grabs to anyone for a nominal fee once the pandemic is over.

I didn't find the fronts to be that annoying at all. Took us 3 hours total to do all 4 corners last weekend, with manual "spring compressor" clamps. A lift helps for sure, but knowning tricks on how to get suspension to move or lift out of a knuckle is an even bigger help.

What it takes and what they would quote you are often different. Also I assume that 3 hours didn't include an alignment.

Glad to hear you got it all done relatively pain free though. It looks good lowered.

Are the tips the oval style or round?? How soon would you sell. Looking at moving forward with something soon.

Oval style, fits stock exhaust and Borla. I can sell any time, they are just sitting in my garage.

Awesome. If you want to get me a price we can meet up and I can pick them up from you whenever is convenient for you. I work weekdays until 5 but am usually free after that and on weekends.

I've been reading up on the meth injection as well and it'll ad a couple more HP over not having it. I'm interested to see how it responds.
