The worst thing about the Stinger for me.

Me, too! Might be some oxytocin or pheromones penetrated into the steering wheel or released from the climate 'control...' system.
You have been assimilated...

I dont "want" to put so many miles on the car because i have this service deal stating max 10000km (6214 miles) max between services
And i have already had 2 x 10000km services (~12428 miles) and i have not owned the car a year even.

I was pacing for 20k miles in my first year before Coronavirus, if this shelter in place order keeps up I'll probably end up around 16k. I have to drive quite a bit for work but I've definitely been stretching the car out on several fun drives too. It's been nice not to fret for a little bit about burning up all the warranties too quickly, haha.

Any excuse to drive it will do. Can't help myself. It's an addiction.

After work i usually take a little drive around for about 20-40km :D
Maybe chosing a store little further away.

I dont get to "sit at home and get paid".
run my own business and are ata customer that is considered essential workplace, so i work normally still. So i get to drive the car almost daily.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Also an "essential" worker, so my daily 45 mile (each way) commute continues.

I guess if I had a shorter commute with lots of stop-and-go I'd entertain getting a beater, but I drive mostly highway and I'm in the car 2+ hours each day.
The stinger is a luxury I bought myself to keep my sanity.

To rub it in - I just hit 300 miles on mine. Had it since 2/29/20. Not my DD. That's what my 2006 LGT spec b is for, now. After moving out of my 05 LGT wagon, Stage 2 at 248k mi it was time to move on. 58k on the Stage 3 b (e-tuned BNR 18g turbo and fueling). It's all good as there's a lot of tech to learn and getting used to with the Stinger. Taking my time...esp as I'm relegated to working from home...

Mine would be classified as a "Garage Queen" i have two other vehicles i rotate to work. The Stinger gets a weekly drive on a Saturday to work and perhaps a couple of drives to the local shops.
Im trying to savour it like a fine cognac. Every 3-4 months it gets a country trip.Right now i would have been in Adelaide 1500km away , but with the borders now closed due to the virus its getting more shopping trips. Made an excuse to go to the dry cleaners today to exercise Her Highness :D

That’s the difference between you teetotallers and us pisspots. Mine is more like a carton of XXXX; I try and get into it as much as I can and as often as I can. :)
Xxxx along with Powers that stuff is unconsomable. Ill never forget the taste. Being a true blue bag my go to drop was New , back then it was called draught in the white cans. Didn't mind KB as well.

I have the same issue. I am working from home now so don't drive it much but when things get back to normal I will be back to my daily 70 miles each way commute. I had an Elantra before this and it was my beater. It got much better gas mileage but it sucked my will to live driving it everyday for such a long time.

I put 42.000 km on mine in the first year. My plan was 30.000 km/year to be able to keep the warranty going for 5 years. Seems like I'm failing so far :)

I have had my Stinger for about 8 months. I have enjoyed owning this car immensely. This is the first car where I have been doing some "mods" to it and doing my own general maintenance. However the worst part of this car is my OVERWHELMING URGE to always drive it. I have put way to many miles on this damn thing. Up until yesterday this has been my only vehicle which I have been using for my work commute and for my weekend fun and usually a few days during the week fun. I bought a 2016 Chevy Volt that I can use for my commute and save all the miles on my Stinger for all the fun (the dealership I went to delivered the car to me for a test drive, sanitized it and after I made my decision we took care of the financials online and over the phone).I will also be able to save some money on gas too as I can charge up at work. 53 miles of EV range is more that enough to get me to work and back. I won't feel as guilty going on long drives with the Stinger if I can save tons of miles on it during the week for boring commutes in traffic.

Have you guys struggled staying out of the driver seat with this car? I have spent countless hours looking for roads around me that are fun to drive and I have found a few that I love. All the cars I have driven before have strictly been a tool to get me to work and to grocery stores and occasionally weekend excursions. Now my car has become the fun. It's quite a different picture.

I recommended the Volt to my mom recently when she was thinking about getting an i3, she ended up with the Bolt instead. I'm surprised how nicely Chevy has done with their EV's, they're nice little cars.

I've put more miles on my car in the last month than the past 3 months combined. I take the train to work so the Stinger would sit for days without moving. I would absolutely daily her if parking downtown wasn't so pricey. Now I wake up every morning and take her for a nice spirited drive on the highway or out in the country. The wife works nights as a nurse so she sleeps well into the afternoon. I'm gone and back before she even realizes it :D. Gotta take advantage of these cheap gas prices! These cars are meant to be driven..just keep it under 12k per year and you'll have full use of the basic warranty. I certainly didn't buy this car thinking of the trade in value or making sure there's low miles for the next guy. I'm driving the HELL outta this BAD GIRL and loving every single minute! With my last car, I was averaging 7k per year...I'm on pace for 11k with the Stinger

At Costco a couple of days ago, Premium was $2.15. There's always a silver lining.
