Instrument Cluster

So my Stinger is a GT model and the instrument cluster doesn't have the color screen in between the gauges. Instead it just has a smaller non colored screen. Does anyone know if this could be replaced with the nicer one on the GT1 and GT2? Not sure how to get the part or what would be involved in replacing it. I probably should have just bought the GT1 or 2 but I got a good deal on this one. It's not a big deal but something I might want to do down the line.

I am sure it can be done, I'd guess you're talking a few thousand in parts and labor..

Just look and find a wrecked salvaged one and start taking parts off it...

I doubt the display itself is all that needs to be replaced.

you would need to swap out the cluster itself. The wiring harness behind the cluster is the same (I just pulled up the wire diagram for both clusters) but that still doesn't mean it will work since it is CAN controlled..

Thanks for all of the replies. I've decided to spend the money on a WMI kit for now. I may revisit this in the future.

Most likely. I go from Downingtown to Conshohocken every day for work so I am on 202 all the time. I haven't seen many other Stingers at all in the area. Only a handful. I remember seeing a white one on 202 around the Malvern / Great Valley entrance ramp a while back.

I don't think it will be an easy thing. I am waiting for Kia to put LCD screens like the Korean spec Genesis G70 looks amazing. Imaging the whole instrument cluster being one big screen like in my R8.
