Hey guys,

Has anyone with a 2019 or 2020 Stinger have a wind booster?

I bought one but when I connected it the module wouldn't light up or display and it threw me a check engine error. In speaking with the seller (who is sending a replacement) they said it was tested before shipping and it could be possible that when the wind booster was designed for the Stinger, it was in 2017 and KIA may have changed the peddle signal in the 2019 generation.

Wondering if that could be correct and I may be waisting my time waiting for the new one to arrive?

Thoughts or experiences?

Yes, it's a throttle controller like peddle commander or bms.

There are for sure owners using Windboosters. Lots of them in the Facebook group. Haven't read too much about it on this forum. It should work fine if the seller ensures it's the right module for the Stinger. They may have just messed up and shipped you the wrong unit. Which version did you buy and from where? I've been following a couple versions on Ebay for a while but am not convinced its something I need yet...

Is that the one where they messed up the ECO setting, and you get INVERSE adjustment (i.e. if you have it set to increase throttle, in ECO mode it basically makes your pedal dead)?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

It was an engine control error. I wasn't able to change any settings as the module had no power, but yeah the gas peddle was dead while it was attached.

I doubt it. The ones I’ve read reviews on work regardless of car mode and have 9 or more adjustments.

One of them (not sure which one) was totally messed up and essentially caused the car to stall in ECO mode..
