I have had my Stinger for about 8 months. I have enjoyed owning this car immensely. This is the first car where I have been doing some "mods" to it and doing my own general maintenance. However the worst part of this car is my OVERWHELMING URGE to always drive it. I have put way to many miles on this damn thing. Up until yesterday this has been my only vehicle which I have been using for my work commute and for my weekend fun and usually a few days during the week fun. I bought a 2016 Chevy Volt that I can use for my commute and save all the miles on my Stinger for all the fun (the dealership I went to delivered the car to me for a test drive, sanitized it and after I made my decision we took care of the financials online and over the phone).I will also be able to save some money on gas too as I can charge up at work. 53 miles of EV range is more that enough to get me to work and back. I won't feel as guilty going on long drives with the Stinger if I can save tons of miles on it during the week for boring commutes in traffic.
Have you guys struggled staying out of the driver seat with this car? I have spent countless hours looking for roads around me that are fun to drive and I have found a few that I love. All the cars I have driven before have strictly been a tool to get me to work and to grocery stores and occasionally weekend excursions. Now my car has become the fun. It's quite a different picture.
